Some General Thoughts
So this excellent little game can be as fun as it can be frustrating. Fortunately, all of the achievements are within your grasp! SHARE and RATE if you find it useful!

1. I've found that Faith (the skill which grants you a random potion) is the first skill I end up unlocking. Very early on, I just pump up that skill and am overjoyed when the RNG gods give me a large potion! Often, that new mana goes straight into the exp bonus and then (you guessed it) more mana potions.

2. Don't be afraid to burn through mana potions. Expecially when you're boosting your attack skill (and praying for more potions!)

3. ALWAYS save astrolobes for TWO cycles after the full moon. This would be 3rd quarter moon for you star gazers out there. I've found that's the best time to keep the mana flowing (between 1st quarter moon and third quarter moon).

4. Harpys are the devil in this game because they still precious mana potions. If you see a harpy attacking with its special ability (if there is a star over their head), immediately target it. That way you can destroy the foe and get your item back!

5. Don't get frustrated in the dungeon throws you unfair stacks. The RNG fu is strong in this game! That being said ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TORCHES. I've actually died once fighting the last boss not because I was out of mana but because I ran out of torches!

6. You lose the Red Stone each tier if you don't use it. Burn it for fuel by pressing the x button in the item's lower right frame. That being said, if you plan on crafting a red stone for the final boss, craft it WHEN YOU'RE IN THE FIGHT ITSELF. Don't craft before.

Just lose the game once. This will happen quite often!
Ordeal
There are 20 tiers in the main and main ex mode and 40 in trial. You'll know when you've arrived at 3!
High Priest
Gonna be honest..I never unlock (or learn) all the skills when I'm playing a serious game! To get this achievement though, you'll need to unlock the basic level of each ability in your skill bar.
Unexpected Effect
The easist way to unlock this achievement is to use a bandage on a limb that the cockatrice (aka chicken lizard annoying thing) uses its special on. It will have a square debuff.
Stinger
"They are no match for sting!!" To pull off this achievement, you'll need to mash the attack up skill at least 4 times. Quaff many potions to be ability to do this before its your time to attack.
Attempt this achievement when you have many potions and the moon is full!
Faithful Golem
The golem won't attack unless it's been attacked first! Use this as a way to get easy exp from monsters in other columns. *One shot KO when you use the Red Stone.
Faithful Golem
This guy will most likely cause serious wounds to any limb he targets. Target him post haste! *One shot KO when you use the Red Stone.
Mine Minotaur
Honestly never learned his special attack...because I target him first! He just looks so beastly. *One shot KO when you use the Red Stone.
Wandering Gryphon
One of the most adorbs monsters in the game. His special will wipe out a big chunk of HP from all your arms so if you see he's gearing up for a whole body attack, have the "cure a little bit of everything" spell cooking. *One shot KO when you use the Red Stone.
Sleeping Monk
To unlock all the upgrades in a speedy amount of time, focus on upgrading the Faith ability and bonus exp abilities as soon as you can. More exp gained, more PP at the end of the run.
Beyond the Nightmare
So to finish the Main Mode or Ex Main Mode, you'll need to defeat the dragon on tier 20. Honestly, my advice is 1. Have a lot of torches 2. Have the "heal serious wounds" skill maxed to use so your hero survives another round 3. Bring plenty of mana potions. Or you could use a Red Stone and defeat the dragon in one hit! Good luck keeping the required materials around to the end of the game though.
Behind You
This was the last achievement I unlocked in the game and the most difficult. I went in with all upgrades unlocked, got 3 stars in the mana potion skill first, then 2 stars in attack, then 3 stars in heal serious wounds and then 2 stars in the heal all ability and 2 stars in the regular heal ability. Then I just maxed those abilities. You don't actually fight a dragon at the end of Trial Mode. Its a little anti-climatic but I appreciate what the knight says at the end!
Their Jouney Continues
The main difference between Main Mode and Ex Main Mode is your purchased upgrades don't follow you into the dungeon. I'd focus on maxing out the same abilities I recommend in trial mode.







I like to think this is the game's creator breaking the third wall....

Just wanted to point out that the guide says the dragon is at tier 20 but he is at tier 25.
