This guide is to help anyone who has bought or is thinking of buying the map pack dlcs, only to find that they can't verify the dlc due to Games for Windows - Live being dead.

Activating the Overdrive Map Pack.
  1. Find the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Section 8 Prejudice\s9game\CookedPCFinal\DLC\DLC2" on your computer.
  2. Search for the "DLC2__S9Game.ini" file.
  3. Open the ini file in wordpad or notepad or what ever text editor you have.
  4. Find every instance of the line "RequiredDLCId=3" and delete that line of code.
  5. Save the file and launch the game.
  6. The maps should now be usable in games, enjoy your new maps.
Activating the Frontier Colonies Map Pack.

  1. Find the folder "C:\Users\[user]\Documents\My Games\Section 8 Prejudice - PC\S9Game\Config" on your computer.
  2. Search for the "S9Game.ini" file.
  3. Open the ini file in wordpad or notepad or what ever text editor you have.
  4. Find every instance of the line "RequiredDLCId=3" and "RequiredDLCId=4" and delete that line of code.
  5. Save the file and launch the game.
  6. The maps should now be usable in games, enjoy your new maps.

Thank you so much! I can verify that this works even when using the "Xlive" .dll and .ini files from PCGamingWiki to bypass the crappy GFWL DRM.

I've seen many people in other discussions with same issue. Some of them has solved it by restarting PC in safe mode, I've tried too, but there is nothing changed after that.

If you have the weapons, but not the armor then I'm stumped. The armor should be unlocked with the weapons.

Well, there is standard, aegis and stealth armors, but not blitz. Napalm mortar and incendiary rounds for shotgun are available, but I'm not sure if they was available in game without DLCs or not.

It's in the armor customization screen, just a reskin, should appear if dlc 2 is activated.

Thank you for your guide. Funny, but I've did not delete "requireddlcid" lines, just replaced their values with 0, and it works. Also, is there a way to activate blitz armor if it is not shown in selection menu?

Finally got it.. Had to do ALL 3 Steps.. The first 2 steps didnt work but after the 3rd step the maps now appear! TYSM!

@[FX] GanjaCommando Did you purchase the dlc and try the steps above? You'll have to provide more details about what you have done and what isn't showing up. The map packs are pretty obvious, but the overdrive pack literally just adds some armor and guns so they are pretty easy to over look.
