"Kudos to ZEN for caring about the integrity of their product. Disappointing that some used scripting tools for gain."

Well if you believe they are accurate with this notice... they sure did didn't they? Good thing all those top scorers that cheated are now quitting the game due to the shame they feel due to abusing an 'unfair' advantage (patch notes) 'especially' when combined with macros/scripts... thanks Zen :hintlord:

I for one am glad they did this. I mean, they should have discovered and fixed the bug a long time ago, but better late than never.

Using input remapping tools is not cheating. The "scripting" part of that message is misleading and implies some kind of automation that just isn't there. Basically it's the same as the control mapping options in the game, but with more ways to assign inputs.

Here is a list of scores that we think are most likely not legitimate. It's a small list. All but a few #1 scores are legitimate: http://cs2bus.com/app/226980/discussions/0/541906989401617966/

The methods of achieving high scores have been discussed openly. There is plenty of written information and videos explaining and demonstrating them.

I Agree @DJ I have some pretty sad lousy scores too,and I would not know how to cheat anyway. looks like I have to start all over again with the same very sad lousy scores, and believe me I have been all along skeptical about very crazy insane high scores. But I do believe that all the lovely pinball friends I have are genuine game players and professionals with passion at pinball and so do not need no scripts to cheat. I just hope they are not using them and are very honest genuine players.

Now I need to be in the right mood to play Pinball again, and throw in some more lousy but fun scores :winkkit:

The thing is, the script hardly did anything. You could have done the same thing on keyboard using up + left/right nudge.
