Positive: banger soundtrack, simple at the surface but deep deck building mechanics mixed with on-the-spot decision making. Well-written dialogue and very cool dark atmosphere.

Negative: becomes mildly grindy, randomness can lead to unlucky runs, can become repetitive without you trying new stuff out and challenging your strategies.

Overall: Highly recommended!

This game is the result of pure passion and love. The aesthetics are just stunning and knowing that all the animations were hand drawn... well, it's just amazing. Combine this with a gameplay that runs around fighting bosses, where each and every boss is a completely unique concept that just never stops surprising you. Is this all? Nope! Let's not forget the soundtrack
with original compositions recorded live, creating an atmosphere not just matching but also enhancing the old school aesthetics. My GOTY 2020.
Before I forget: game IS HARD and... never bet with the Devil ;)

Had a ton of fun with friends, won some games, lost some others, but always had a great time. Recommended!

Democracy 3 è un gioco in cui tu sei eletto presidente di una nazione. Durante il mandato il tuo compito è quello di approvare o eliminare leggi usando il tuo "capitale" politico. Vuoi creare uno stato capitalista? Taglia i fondi pubblici agli ospedali e alle scuole e lascia che il settore privato si occupi di tutto, togli le imposte sul guadagno e le imposte sulle aziende. Vuoi uno stato cristiano? Approva i simboli religiosi a scuola ed insegna solo il creazionismo, rendi obbligatoria la domenica di riposo ed abolisci la prostituzione!
Mentre ti occupi di costruire ciò che vuoi ci sono anche altri aspetti da considerare: qual è la tua popolarità? Quali sono le classi sociali che ti adorano? E quelle che ti odiano? Cosa sta causando un certo problema? Le entrate sono più grandi delle uscite? Sto per rischiare di essere ucciso?

Le possibilità sono tante se si considera che ci sono diverse nazioni da scegliere (ognuna con particolari leggi in vigore e problemi iniziali) e molti sviluppi possibili (stato capitalista, liberale, tecnologicamente avanzato, repressivo, socialista e chi più ne ha più ne metta).

I never read DC comincs and I never was a Batman fan, but all the reviews about this game were so positive that I decided to try it. After finishing it, I can say that this a masterpiece: so dark, so scary, so... BATMAN! Even if you are in the worst situation, you'll always have a solution and you'll feel like a true superhero. In addition all the Riddler's challenges allow you to discover many characters from the Batman world and know them better.
Action, investigation, adventure, fights, riddles, scary, dark, crazy and also quite difficult in some parts. What can I say more? ...NANANANANANA, BATMAAAN!
