I like space games and WWII games, anything with guns and technology really. Survival games are fine as well so long as they have some sort of decent technological progression, ARK: Survival Evolved is a good example of this; same for Factorio.

I'm nostalgic for the 90's and I think that games these days hold the player's hand too much.
