A simple yet wholesome, but very short story. The gameplay consists of point-and-click and drag-and-drop segments. I'm not a fan of the soundtrack, but that's solely due to personal preference. The music itself isn't bad, and it fits well with the game. The best part of the game is certainly the art, especially how well and good looking the food is. Also, bonus points for including detailed and genuine real recipes for all the foods after you're done with the game. I'd recommend it for a chill 2 hours, if you're into this kind of game, but maybe not at full price, considering how short it is.

Get it if you hate yourself.
Get it for your friends if you hate loving them.
And always ask yourself, can you cook an egg on top of Mount Everest?

Pretty good overall, but it definitely has its negative quirks, if you are into this type of game, however, I think the positives outweigh the negatives, and it's worth giving it a chance. Combat and parrying are satisfying, the movement is fluid and decent with one exception I'll mention later, and although nothing changes about them throughout the game, they never start to feel boring. The bosses are all unique and a good amount of a challenge, sometimes feeling a bit too challenging, but you get the hang of their attacks and patterns fairly quickly, and with a bit of persistence will understand how to fight them soon after. The visuals are simple but nice, the plot is quite interesting, though there's not a lot to it, and the OST is fantastic.

Now, for the not-so-good parts, the dodge/dash is less than ideal, the distance feels unintuitive, in close combat encounters, it often feels like it's not going the direction you want it to, and the worst part, the dodge is actioned on button release, because the game uses the same button to charge a long dash. This makes dodging have a slight delay that is hard to get used to, and will have you late-dashing or dashing right into damage many times. It gets better with time, but never great.
One other thing, on many occasions, it feels like the game simply doesn't respect your time, in between bosses there are long, empty and painfully slow walks, where you can do nothing but watch the main character walk the slowest walk you've ever seen for minutes with nothing else to do (pressing the dodge button at least makes him walk by himself), also certain boss animations and fight stages feel like nothing but a time waste, that repeat every time you get downed, which will fuel frustration.

Great fun but very short on-rail "shooter" typing game, reminiscent of Typing of the Dead. Considering that it's free, there's no reason not to give it a try, honestly.
Amazing as an advertisement for Boltgun 2, and it has good potential to make for a pretty great full-fledged game.
The hardest difficulty will really test your patience and quick typing skills, though.

Short and pretty easy puzzle game with a sweet story, nice music, pretty art style, and some gorgeous animation.

An impressive game, especially considering the budget and, with all due respect, developer behind it. As far as movie-tie-in games go, this is one of the better ones for sure.

The graphics overall look really great, the characters and NPCs look a bit rough though, the environments are detailed and have plenty of nice references, and the world is extremely accurate to the movie, all this makes exploration and searching for little collectibles, which count only towards your level and upgrading your gear, not towards any achievement, very worthwhile.
The gameplay itself is very straightforward, which also makes it a lot of fun; you're essentially a walking tank mowing down enemies. As the game progresses, your upgrades just improve on that and give you a bit of gameplay variety to spice it up. The secondary weapons I'd say are lacking quite a bit, though, as they are rarely a better alternative to your main gun.
The story is also quite interesting; it sparked my curiosity pretty early on and got me emotionally involved plenty of times. The characters are nice to interact with, get to know, and develop relationships with, which was probably my favorite part of the game. Also, the small side missions you get in every main quest, while you can ignore them completely, are fun and worth checking out.

If I were to complain about something, it would be the lack of soundtrack variety, because you get two songs in total, one which you'll only hear once during a quest, and the other which you'll hear tens of times everywhere you go and gets tiring real quick.

As for the achievements, 100% completion is fairly simple, and at most, it'll take you some replaying of certain missions, but there's nothing hard or particularly annoying. It can be easily done even with just one normal playthrough if you pay attention to a few easy to miss things or follow a guide. The game makes and keeps a save for every quest, so going back to them is quick and easy.
