Now you have the best anger reliever ever made. Had a crappy day at work? Nothing takes away the hatred like some Hatred. Just dont be surprised if you end up on some lists :)

This game is just good old school fun. I've only played the singleplayer campaign so far, so I can't speak on the multiplayer. Having said that, this campaign has a suprising amount of depth and replayability. The cutscenes with their voice acting delivery, odd animations, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue has me laughing often. The gunplay is solid, not excellent, but servicable considering stealth is the optimal approach usually. Finding loot and robbing it is even more satisfying here than in Payday, which is the game that will inevitably draw the most comparisons with Crime Boss. The only thing Payday does better in my opinion is the cool mask mechanic, other than that Crime Boss is the superior heist game. Not to mention it costs less than most indie games

Don't let the complaints about the friendly AI scare you off. For one, you can control your bot teammates and position them before/during a mission. And two, they're actually quite competent at gunplay and especially loot management. The pathfinding is manageable if you order them effectively

Michael Madsen is the standout among all the great actors in this game, and they give him all the best dialogue. Not to mention he's probably who you'll play the campaign as most of the time, so it's just cool that we have a game where Mr. Blonde is the player character. The progression feels great, both within your campaign, and with the permabuffs you get as you advance rank. Overall this is just a solid package and it's the most fun I've had in an FPS in a long time. For it's price, I'd say definitely give it a shot

It's amusing for about an hour... Not as satisfying physics as Gang Beasts though

Loved the board game back in the day, this version is mostly alright. So why am I giving it a bad review?

This is the only game that broke on startup so badly, I needed to use a VPN just to allow me to play online with friends. And now my VPN trial expired. So unless I daisychain from one free VPN to the next or pay money for one when I literally ONLY need it for this one stupid game, I am locked out of playing online...

This is designed so badly for so many reasons. Just use Steam functionality Beamdog! ♥♥♥♥♥♥ peer-to-peer servers that use the account I'm already on (Steam) rather than have me create a new one just for your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game to even work. Or if, god forbid, you just NEED your third-party account/matchmaking, then you'd sure as ♥♥♥♥ better make sure it works. It doesn't work. Stop outsourcing your responsibilities to Indian chaff and fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game!

I launched the game for the first time and closed out before creating an account. That is all you need to do to break this game forever...

Unacceptable

Worth all the hype. Earned every GOTY. Best video game in many years...


The writing in this game is phenomenal, AND has the added bonus of filtering out goobers with low attention spans :D

A must-play for any self-respecting game enthusiast

The game is great but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do I hate Industrial Sabotage missions...

Take those out of the game (or at least make them appear WAY less often) and this is easily a 10/10 PvE game. But as long as I have to keep doing Industrial Sabotage missions for assignments, Left 4 Dead 2 is still the king of co-op
