For all the meme this game is made of, I believe it to be a legitimately enjoyable FPS experience. The gameplay loop is simple but very addicting, plus the game has made me laugh until I nearly turned blue. A must have for people looking for fast paced FPS experiences.

The gameplay of Borderlands 3 is definitely the best in the series, it makes the other games feel worse in comparison. I absolutely love the gameplay. It's story left a lot to be desired however, it feels like everyone ranges from decent to cringelord and really could've done with better written villains especially. But if you want more looter shooter fun, this is definitely a game you should get.

I do not recommend it right now, and I have yet to finish it. I recommend waiting until the future to buy it, but let me list the pros so I don't just seem like I'm complaining.
1. It's very beautiful on max settings, a revolutionary experience looking at these animatronics and environments in beautiful computer-busting ultra graphics.
2. There are horror segments in this game that are stellar, I love them.
3. Mapping out a route ahead of time, using Freddy as a desperate last attempt to escape imminent doom just hits the right way, and the sprinting feels fast while having a reasonable amount of stamina.

Now the cons I have are mainly just the fact that this game is an early birth and should've been put back in the oven before the hamster behind Steel Wool fell asleep on the release button.
1. Optimization is just... garbage. My set up isn't top tier NASA computer, but it can reliably play taxing games at high frame rates, but this game just obliterates the set up. The rendering is sometimes just egregious and I have gotten stuck in an unloaded chunk way more often than I should for a $40 game.
2. Bugs. Bugs galore. Bugs everywhere.
3. The animatronics, I can run around a corner with a dead end and they'll actually lose me. I genuinely hope this is just a bug and not how this is meant to be published, because this ruins the anxiety of being chased when I know that safety is a turn away. I only have my word as proof but I swear I lost an animatronic just running around a food stand, this is incredibly stupid.
4. Teleporting animatronics, because that's what the game needed. I would love to say that this is a bug, but it doesn't seem so. Apparently, the patrol S.T.A.F.F have mastered magic, because they can teleport to the beginning of their routes and they can also just teleport animatronics over to you.
5. Texture pop in so blatant it makes games from 2015 look more advanced. I started off playing on low settings, and there are times where I couldn't read signs because I had to wait for the textures to load.

Just... just please wait for the game to be fixed. Buying it now would only reaffirm that Steel Wool can get away with releasing unfinished product.

edit: There are people saying "It's the fans fault for yelling at Scott Cawthon/Steel Wool to release it early." I don't believe that people wanting to play a game sooner should impact the quality of the game, since you should still release the game at a finished, not as buggy release. There are great games that have had a lot of hype before release and still come out at a good standard. And as of this edit, all the issues in this review are still there, even when I've upgraded my hardware over the holidays. I do love this game, but the flaws of it's current status shouldn't be ignored or glossed over, when the issues have been resolved, this will become a positive review.

edit2: This game has had no serious update that fixes any of the complaints listed in this review, it's been around a month and the closest thing we've seen is fixes for minor things. As I've played more, not only have my complaints remained, but more have accumulated. This game shouldn't have been released like this. At this rate, I'm so close to saying don't ever buy this game, save the money and go buy a sandwich or something.

Doom Eternal is a constant boss fight where your the boss, an unrelenting hell beat down the likes of which only magic mushrooms can normally show you. But because of the mastermind big brains at IQ, you get to witness the best, family friendly, and intense violence since Doom 2016, the only way to top Doom Eternal's intensity is to have it injected into your veins, which has caused heart explosions in lab mice so I don't personally recommend it. The story- who gives a ♥♥♥♥, get out there and smash demons into the gore they were born from. It's there if you want it but the game really does prefer you go the way of violence. Violence/10, great game.

So I've enjoyed my experienced, but this game is overshadowed by the Australian man and his voice of terror. The game is fun, not the best in the series but fun, the story isn't the best in the series but it's good, the Australian man is mugging me trying to get some facts and glitches out of me. 10/ten, time to buy Australian repellent.

Loved the gnome, best character in the entire game with an excellent arch. Only complaint is the rest of the story seems weak compared to the gnome's story.

It's bad. It's just bad. There are hundreds of reviews explaining why it's bad, but if you're interested in this game and are reading the reviews for it, just know it won't be worth it, and that it's bad.

Very fun game, and very realistic. One time I farted so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard I created a religion, I think it was called Christianity or something... I dunno. 10/10 Hope to never create another religion like that.

Edit: I created another one, it's called Scientology
