So I've been using RPG Maker for a long time now, however, I decided to write a review for it since I've used it for such a long time. RPG Maker MV does a lot of things right and a few things that I don't as much agree with.

1. RPG Maker's Character Creation: One of the most fun parts of making any game is creating characters. MV has an amazing built in system to do that. Most characters you want to make you can make here...unless...they're not humanoid...or short...or tall. One of my main issues with the character creation system is the Kid part there is basically 1 option to make a kid and the kid looks like a young princess, which is nice but I do wish there more options.

2. Layers: Layers are something that some of the earlier RPG Makers had like XP but, MV doesn't have it which is unfortunate.

3. Importing: MV is very easy to import things into, there are a ton of YouTubers that talk about this.

4. Music: Importing music isn't hard and there's tons of it here already. It's really solid in that department.

5. Graphics: Everything is a little to chibi compared to the previous RPG Makers for me personally, it isn't bad but it has a tendency to begin looking "I wanted to make an Anime game and couldn't so here's the next best thing" just generally not my shtick but does certainly have an appeal.

6. Regions: Regions make it so where certain enemies can attack you in certain areas, MV does this with super success! I love this feature of MV so much.

There's so much more I could go into but better yet if you have questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them! (Despite frustrations and things I'm not as happy about I definitely recommend this software.)

This my go to PC game. Amazing.
