The first week of the game was terrible for F2P players. Basically starting out with a default starter deck while the whales have about 500 cards of rng gacha pulls ahead of everyone else so it felt unfair. we will see how the economy holds out after the 2nd set but so far things have stabilized and f2p players should be focusing on ONE class deck.

This is a great and fun game.

This is a story of redemption, forgiveness, regrets and love. If you are having doubts whether you should read this game or not, I highly suggest that you do coming from me. I had personally held off from reading this because I had the perception that it attracted a certain kind of audience and did to want to waste my time and be disappointed so I gave it a chance and it turned out to be a great experience.

✅Artistic masterpieces that captures the atmosphere of the era and style of the VN.
✅The Story deals with issues that is caricatured in modern day political discourses without forcing any biases towards the reader. It maintains a neutral stance while being as realistic as it can keeping in mind the era, the struggles of the individual and everyone around them.
✅Not woke, no DEI, just a masterpiece
⛔️No voice acting
⛔️Pacing can be a slog at times especially when we go through the backstory of each character which is a retelling of events from a different point of view. It may seem repetitive but the culmination of it all is rewarding.

Trails from zero is a great game that honors the essence of a JRPG with masterclass in world-building, character development, narrative pacing, soundtrack, etc. After having played Sky, Coldsteel and now moving onto Azure I can say that the best experience to this series is following the release order of these games because every new entry will spoil the previous one.

✅Amazing cast of characters, KeA being the cutest thing that will awaken your parental instincts
✅Nostalgia trip if you previously played Sky
✅All characters get EXP even if they are out of the party, guest characters are all always useful
✅Great OST and voice acting
✅The localization wasn't too bad, no modern audience/gen z cringe
✅Great story with many tear jerking moments and developed characters, even some NPC's are entertaining
🟥Multiple playthrough to get 100% achievement - Annoying

Quench your thirst with more funbags. Part 3 of the original funbag fantasy series. You do not need to play funbag fantasy 2 to read this although it would make sense if you were to play them in release order because there are references in this game to the previous which spoils some events although not that big of a deal.

✅Altho it's more of the same story as funbag and sidestory 1, I like this one more.
🟥 The Lute Hen version that recently came out in 2025 have more ending scenes but is only available in JP.

Follow our hero Flute hand dead... (Lute: it's Lute Hende!) on his journey to collect the most balloons of the continent of erodia. This nukige is great for people who loves bobas (like myself), it's funny and very entertaining plot wise. If you watch ecchi anime it has the same spirit as Prison school where there's a lot of funny jokes and subarashi content.

✅Ginormous bazongas
✅No modern audience slangs or woke localization
✅No uncensor patch required, No mosiacs

For $20 this game may be worth it but be aware you are not getting a AAA game, you are getting what you are paying for.

✅Very good OST and character voice acting
✅The game scenarios seem to be well designed, with each scenario having it's own gimmick.
⛔️Some weapons are just straight up useless like the handgun and melee weapon can be good but the way it's designed with a recharge bar just doesn't feel good to use.
⛔️The narrative was too minimalist
⛔️People like to make fun of the yellow pis marker to point directions in a map but in this game it's very easy to get lost.
⛔️Needs some QOL improvements like having a quest sub menu and a training mode where you can just fast equip rear and primary weapons to test. Frames also needs better description to better determine what they are capable off instead of wasting time wearing them all to get a "feel" for them.
⛔️After beating the game you can start from 0 but I don't see anything new? No EX new game. I guess for $20 this is what we get.

I rate 6/10 , it's fine but it could be better.

Detective Master rain code is a fine game with a decent story and a huge WTF moment at the end that is very hard to figure out yourself as you play the game. There's not a lot of good thing to say about the game without comparing it to Danganronpa.

⛔️Rare signs of wokelization (Using Gen Z modern audience language like simp and such, I have screenshots in my profile)
⛔️Sometimes the battle round does not make sense. There are multiple sentences that means the same thing and you have to pick one of them. Using a guide is a must if you don't want to be annoyed by getting wrong answers due to interpretations.
⛔️Loopholes with some of the mysteries that was intentionally ignored and brushed under the rug
⛔️The music is not memorable
⛔️There is a "mature audience" at the bottom of the steam store page with blood and nudity but the game felt tame and there were no nudity, just some light hearted segsual jokes. Are people that sensitive nowadays?

I rate 6/10 "fine" but I cannot recommend it unless you're into this type of games, time is precious.

If you want to "get into" the fate series this is where you start. Having read the VN Realta Nua ver. and watched the anime I highly recommend getting into Fate via the VN. The characters are much more fleshed out and you can better understand their internal struggles, motivations and the thought process that leads to their decisions. If you like complex characters and grand story telling, this is a must read.

✅An Immersive VN experience with GREAT soundtrack (Arata na Yoake, Ever-present Feeling, etc)
✅It goes heavy with the character development, each character is highly complex and unlike the anime where you "hate" some characters for being dumb, here you come to better understand them.
✅Some CG improvement with higher quality and also that removes some unnecesary but yet disturbing "bugs"
✅Multiple routes each tackling Shirou's creed from different angles
✅Heaven's feels has one of the better VN endings i've read.
⛔️No seggs scene
⛔️The pacing can be a real slog at times, especially at the beginning of each route.

Game length ▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰ on average about 87 hours but depends on your read speed and if you're going for 100% completion.

I rate 9/10

This is just a basic dungeon crawling RPG that retell the story of the anime. There's a lot of going back and force uncovering the map as per usual with these kind of games and so far, the gameplay hasn't reached high difficulty. The characters have the same integrity as in the anime and playing it a 2nd time through this format can make you realize why hitogami was making rudeus do things in mysterious ways~

The price is ridiculous for what I've seen so far but I guess this is our new reality :/

Overall it is recommended to Mushoku Tensei fans. I will write a better review once I'm finished.
