I AM SPEED

Pretty Disappointing for a star wars game but then again everything after disney that was star wars related is a flop anyways

The story is fine and acceptable, it takes place during the rule of the empire so its a pretty packed timeframe for it to be set and i enjoyed seeing the lack of habitation, seeing the destruction the empire commited to the galaxy.

this game's downfall is its combat system and bosses.
the combat is unforgiving if you attempt to play it like you expect a star wars game to be played, the dodging is so incredibly crucial and the developers wanted you to know this by forcing several attacks (including ones that look like they can definately blocked and parried) to be unblockable.

imo this game makes you feel like the weakest jedi ever somehow, you constantly get hit and have to desprately run due to the healing system not being instant often leading to very upsetting deaths

The combat is slow, there are no combos and even if you try to come up with one on the few characters that can take multiple hits before dying, they alll just repel you after a few hits. the timing for parrying is annoying due to the pretty lackluster telegraphing, you arent a jedi, you cannot save yourself from everything. thats what makes you feel like the weakest jedi ever.

The bosses are just about the worst in any hack-and-slash like game in decades. For example the first boss you come across is just boring, you end up fighting more of them without them even being bosses later in the game.

your first challenging fight is against the second sister, you dont get to win, even if you are really good at fighting. that enjoyment is torn from you. You end up fighting her 2 more times i think and both of them have issues and problems.
For example in the final fight with here which i have to say is just the most boring bossfight ive ever done, Trilla has a very distracting lightsaber which spins all the time which i found makes it hard to see what attack she is doing.
she has about 5 attacks out of her total amount which are unblockable and one of them is a slam the ground shockwave attack, which she only ever uses at close range so you cant dodge it, never mind if you could because once again she has so many unblockable attacks, when you see her glow red and that sound plays you instinctively dodge to the left or right but oh no shes done the stupid shockwave thing and you can say goodbye to atleast half your health.
she also has multiple grab attacks, they each do half your health too.

at the end she just dies and you just run feeling unsatisfied.

i would not rate this a 9/10 like ign did and i thinks its unjustified why they did.
the game isnt complete trash as it does look quite nice, the lightsaber effects are cool and the fact that you unlock things as you explore further into the worlds.

i do fail to see why we couldnt get the ability to fight with 1 handed, 2 handed and dual wield lightsabers. i have one critisism about the dual lightsaber combo thing we got instead. If you use that combo with the 1-H equiped it does almost no more then holding the alt attack button move, but if you use it with the 2 handed lightsaber out it just does a ton more damage against the 2 bosses you get to use it against :l

y'know what?

its not a terrible game, i just wish it was built with a bit more life and fun into it.
its also pretty short, not like vader immortal short but its shorter then both the force unleashed games combined


I'd give Star wars: Jedi fallen Order.

Murder is fun and you know it

Bought it yesterday, installed it and was exited to play it

I have 1.3k hours on normal fallout so this would be a new experiance to me

I have heard all the hate that was set towards this game and i went in knowing that


BUT

as soon as i started it was unplayable, 2 fps, choppy, music cutting in and out constantly

i Changed ini settings, installed mods, nothing worked

so i gave up for a day and decided to come back to play and it works fine now

The vr view is really laggy tho so i cant stream it to my friends over discord

but overall, my love for fo4 denies me from leaving a negative review

1.4 and 64 bit pls ;-;
