I take back my very brief negative review. This is a cool game. Neat environment. The only thing this game lacks is IT, I don't know what IT is, or don't feel like listing all the things that make up "IT" but you get the point. It feels just like Mafia 3 graphics wise. It's okay to look at but its missing the shine that Mafia 2 had... or lack thereof. Mafia 3 was almost too shiny. It was too much and it really took away from some of the graphics. This can suffer from the same issue at times. If it had some of the design from Mafia 2, I think it would've been groundbreaking graphics wise. Feels like a ton of assets are re-used from 3 which ruins my experience at times. Gameplay can be glitchy and frustrating. No where near as hard as Mafia 2 on the hardest difficulty (minus the race of course). But the gun play is very punchy and fun. Overall a very fun game, if a little more was added to Free Ride i'd probably wind up playing it more once the story is complete. That's what made Mafia 2 so outstanding. Once Friends for Life was made for Mafia 2, it was a game you could pick up and play for hours. Maybe someday something similar will exist for this? I doubt it though.

My heart still aches when I think of this. It died too soon, I wish we as a community could have gotten together and preserved it. I hope the developers are doing okay in their lives right now.

This game can either be the most enjoyable thing you've ever played or make you want to destroy everything in front of you from how absolutely broken the physics can be in some missions. From enemies that can shoot you through walls and one hit you if you happen to be unlucky enough to get some douche with a shotgun or magnum shooting you through a wall, to getting gangbanged by cops during a routine van hijacking in Joe's adventure, this game has it all. It has the perfect mix of great story telling and absolutely broken gameplay to piss you off bad enough to swear off of it for a day or two, but to drag yourself back and continue because even though you've played through it, you want to see it play out.

Also can we talk about how crap the "saving marty" mission is? screw the bombers but most importantly screw Marty im glad he got shot in the hotel because holy crap. You're telling me a hunk of meat like Joe cant pick marty's scrawny self up and carry him?

Overall 10/10 I'll probably finish Joe's adventure when I decide to come back in a day.

Edit: 70 dollars.... 70 dollars is what that rat weasel ♥♥♥♥ guiseppe paid me for my 34.5 attempts to deliver the car in Bomb under the seat...

Absolutely loved it! I hope they add more on and expand upon what’s already there. I came in looking for gold and found diamonds.

Great game! Pretty much all of the car parts are realistic, would love to see a personal truck added, maybe not one you can build but fix. for the personal truck it would be great to see an earlier 80s ford truck like maybe an 1986 f350 with the 6.9l international diesel with a long bed and maybe an option at the mechanics to have a flat bed put on or an option to do it yourself. would love to see that or some other truck added to the game but its still a great game. Would definetly recommend to friends

yes i know i recommend it but honestly i have a few complaints
1. saints row 2 was amazing and quite frankly in saints row 3 you guys threw out the entire gang suspect
2. i liked destroying the samade the ronin and brother hood better
now i do understand alot of good things have happened but hopefully in saints row 5 (providing there is one) hopefully they will bring the good stuff back and earth wont be destryed becuase becoming president and all is cool but the entire feel of the game was pretty much thrown off a roof

but it still is a wacky and fun game :)

ILL BE 100% HONEST, my buddy gave me the code for this game saying he didnt want it and now i just want to wipe it from my steam forever its so bad that its embarrasing to have the title in your games section 1/10 no point at all

1st try got hit in the nutz 10/10 would get hit in the nutz again
