Don't recommend this one.
A good amount of model glitches going on, both of gameplay and of textures and visuals.
Combat gameplay is chunky and locks you into animations all the time, leading to frustrating deaths.
The (RS) inspection mode to be used on enemies is clunky too, they want you to pinpoint locations on enemies as you use the thumbstick to move it around but it always forcibly locks you into a spot on the enemy, just more frustration and time wasted when using this mechanic too.
AI for both friendly and enemy is pretty bad and also clunky.
Game feels incomplete to be honest, it feels like the ideas are there but they just weren't 100% finished across the board.
Didn't pay attention to story.

Unfortunately, this game looks better to watch others play it than to play it yourself, and even then you'll quickly notice with as much progress as you can make in the current state of this game, it's never truly satisfying or you never get to that point where things can be automated fully if anything.

I think this game would've been better off released as early access (as annoying as it is to say that nowadays, but since we know it's the excuse for unfinished games), as this clearly feels like an unfinished game.

This is less of a cash cleaner simulator and more of a "micromanage this mess" simulator. Like I said, you never get to a truly satisfying point in the game where you can fully automate everything they ask you to do in this game, there's just literally "equipment" missing for your character that you quickly notice would be ideal to have. A lot of extra and unnecessary things are available to your character to purchase with the in-game currency as you progress, and small things like lining up the spit out of your unqualified currency will quickly get annoying.

Also, LOVE the fact that the game has random events as you progress that blow up and literally ruin your setups with debris that despawns anyway. Genius idea, developer. Why create chaos for an already frustrating situation?

Just read some of the patches since the release of the game and you'll quickly notice the obvious content missing so far (ie. Yen sorting machine which was added post-release, but the currency released with the full game). With everything missing they uncapped the maximum player level, and for what? There's nothing else to unlock...nothing to improve once you're about 10 hours in, player level becomes irrelevant quickly, just like the satisfaction of playing this game.

Some thought starters for the developer:
Why do currency sorters seem to weigh like 2 oz. in this game and everything including your own character movement punts them around like nothing?
That's the ending for deciding to blow up the piggy bank, really? That is a BAD ending
You stopped at sorting three currencies in one machine at a time, yet have three country currencies and about 12 denominations in the game?
You can't have mission deliveries just drop calmly into the player area, things have to fly everywhere as if they don't weigh with what they contain inside?
The workbench is useless, why include it? You expect people to sit for hours cleaning ink off of bills one at a time? Maybe if things could eventually be fully automated that would help...

Seriously, if you want to be forced to micromanage things in a frustrating manner, this game is for you. Otherwise, there are better simulators out there, come back to this one in a year or two, maybe.

Early Access Review
One of the best simulators of this type of content that's existed in the last 15 years. Buy this, it's a great game, the art style fits great, it's naturally funny with the way everything is put together. Very accurate to the process of building up the business etc. Not personal experience, they just have you manage a lot and it's way more detailed than most other games that just have you grow and sell illegal substances. I'll keep an eye on it for future updates and do plan to come back to it.

Early Access Review
Nah, I'm over this game, the developers have made it their life mission to create this game as a frustration-filled challenging game, instead of creating a fun-challenging game like many others of this kind. Spare yourself the frustration and tons of hours of grind with hardly any progress. Oh, and you'll love when you spend 30+ and even 40+ minutes in a "dive" just to die to some ridiculous enemy damage scaling that goes on in this game. When you die in this game you hardly make any progress in hard buffs because as you get to the tail end of them it's just another thing you have to run around looking for and risk your character's life, literally, to ALSO mine for and collect while trying to survive.

Deep Rock Galactic is fun, but this one has just been update after update of more content but the same frustration. Like I said, plenty of other games of this genre that are more worth it right now over this one.

Can't recommend this game at all. I don't think it has enough attention and the fact that they've released paid DLC and bundles for this game in the condition that it's in says a lot about the priorities here on behalf of the developers. I first gave this game a shot months ago, joined the developer's Discord and gave them a bunch of feedback that they asked me to send directly. Hardly any of the glaring things I've given feedback on have been fixed or addressed.

The worst part is the horrible attempt at Spanish in the game, it's so bad it hurts to witness the more you progress. Even the small parts of the game that have voice acting (which is already bad), and then in Spanish is worse, sometimes what they say doesn't even match the on-screen text. Poor effort all around.

While there are some things I would've liked to be able to change while playing this game so far (and I do plan to complete it for achievements and more), in the end I absolutely recommend it. It's a game that is well thought out with unique ways of staying interactive and engaged while you play it.

This is especially a must have game for the Steam Deck, it just works!

Pros:
  • Lots to do
  • Unique gameplay
  • Running a sushi restaurant!
Cons:
  • Why is the restaurant pet a cat and no other options (dog, monkey, parrot, etc.)? Not everyone likes cats...
  • More control mapping flexibility would be nice, can't say I am a fan of the aiming system
  • There are a lot of moments in the game where you can't pause it, and it's annoying when having to step away

Thanks for the demo version, now I know this game isn't for me and I won't be buying it. To put it simply, this game is designed to frustrate you with high difficulty gameplay (not necessarily challenging, because if it forces you to just spam cards eventually that's not fun and throws any strategy out the window), bad humor that gets old fast, and a poorly designed tutorial and UI.

STEAM DECK USERS: This game is currently not supported one bit on Steam Deck from the looks of it, you have to use your touchpad set up as a mouse for all interactions and you'll easily find out the UI isn't designed for the Steam Deck interface...it's just designed to be used by mouse interaction only. You can also use touchscreen capability to interact with the game but that limits some UI functions and elements from appearing correctly.

Pros:
Concept of a good game
Music seems good

Cons:
No cross save - played on Steam Deck and PC and neither shared the save file (no Steam Cloud support I suppose)
Good game executed poorly
Insufficient tutorial
Bad humor that gets old fast
Art style could be a little better
Frustrating difficulty - NOT challenging, just frustrating and designed to be annoying as you'll quickly notice...

I'll come back to this game when I'm really bored, or just to achievement hunt.

Can't possibly recommend this game.

1. Gives an odd amount of errors during typical gameplay; either when I boot the game up it crashes and gives an error message that just has a bunch of coding text, or it crashes after failing a run and gives a similar error message...

2. Challenging to the point that it's hardly fun...

3. UI and controls leave a lot to be desired and seem unnecessarily overboard...

4. Seems like it lacks a lot of optimization...

This game is one of the best action roguelite and bullet hell style games I've played so far. It does it all very well, with a great art style, great sounds, and great music. The game includes A LOT of characters which are each entirely unique, enough that you'll have to play each one differently and that's what keeps the grind and the chase going for this game in particular.

Developer continues to update the game and add more features, and the fact that this game supports Steam Workshop is a huge game changer! Steam Workshop is still pretty fresh for this game, but it already provides plenty of community-created and community-driven content like characters, weapons, gameplay modifiers, enemies, and more!

The one thing I wish this game had was a gameplay speed modifier built-in, typical full 20 wave games last about 20-30 minutes and sometimes I wish I could speed it up so it goes by faster; just to be able to speed up the gameplay speed, and change nothing else, same amount of enemies and progression but just cut the time down.

I'm going to keep an eye out on future updates for this game for sure, and what the developer creates in the future!

I don't have much to say, this game would've had a lot of potential in today's military FPS space if the developers paid attention. But, it's just another game that uses the few trailers or social media attention and marketing it spends money on to pull players in, and then only when you play it do you realize how bad it is from a technical standpoint and how poorly the developer is running things.

At the time of writing this review, player charts for this game are showing a 30 day average and daily numbers of less than 1000. I'd consider this a dead game - lack of proper anti-cheat, unnecessary game launcher, store system and account linking to website that doesn't even work (even for free Twitch drops or their login events I could never get a single thing to work, just a constant "You do not have a character." message).

I'm tired of play testing games for developers that are just looking for ways to scam players into playing their games and half-assing it all, over and over again. Save your time and don't bother with this one, even if this is free.
