Incredible game. tldr score up here and actual tl;dr at the bottom!

tldr score: 9/10 [so far]
- RTS Roguelike, something new
- Works perfectly on Linux! Both desktop and steam deck. (Im using Proton GE 10-3)
- Very well polished. Throughout my beta and release hours no bugs game breaking bugs occured. (A few small bugs happened which are listed below. Still incredible shape for an EA game.)
- Lots of varied builds in each deck. The permanent upgrades really add to variety and fun.
- Quick, highly repeatable games. Like 10-20 mins per game (so far)
- Beautiful Art Design. The pixel art on the cards and in game are very well done and the style flows well.
- Allows you to break the game wide open with specific combos. I had a build that was all imps that would spawn when my main group died and it carried me through to the win.


- Some audio overlapping issues when you make a huge hit with a lot of troops. Seems like the sound for the attacks all happen at once and its MUCH louder than anything else.
- Very rarely (happened once in the demo and once in the main game) a troop will despawn or they will get stuck in the square they spawn in when you place then during combat. Each time it seemed they were attacking but sitting in their chair. It fixes itself on the next turn.

Cant say enough about 9 kings. Been waiting for this to drop for a while now and was incredibly pleased with it! For the price you really cant go wrong, on sale or not. There are a ton of new skills to check out and I wish there was a way to play this physically its that fun.

I fully automated a meth grow and it produces a strain called

"Strange Nipple Sensation"

This version of meth is 100% addictive, Tropic Thunders them, they float, and then become a ginger and set on fire.

I went from selling weed for 50/g, to 10 racks of meth for 10,000 in about 3 hours. Once you get to meth, just shut off weed sales all together and shift your entire focus.

Also, and im being serious about this, DO NOT USE THE CASINO. Its VERY, VERY overpowered and will net you a few hundred thousand in around 20 mins. I reset my game because it becomes a cakewalk. I did what i needed to, to unlock the casino and started with 1.2K. Ended with 249K in 15 mins.



Amazing game, im reporting every bug i find for the developer Tyler. This game is legit one of if not the single most fun ive had in a sim game ever.

10/10, would smoke meth that turns me into Robert Downey Jr again.

Legit amazing. I have had this since day 1 but came back to play again and realized I never left a review. Im a little late to the party, but the game is fantastic.

Very fast paced, high skill ceiling, and twitch action at its best imo.

One of the most fun of these kinda physics game. Murky Divers control with Content Warning spooks.

great fun, and honestly gets more enjoyable the more you play it. You get strats and certain ideas to improve your run. Nothing more fun than TTS typing to your friends across a room while a monster is staring at you.

Was able to beat all challenges by the skin of my teeth, but had fun doing so. Incredibly fun game and cant wait to see what the dev does with it. The challenges are incredibly hard but rewarding imo. They require really, and i do mean REALLY thinking about your next moves.

Great game, want tons more. Would be great on mobile too, would probably print money even if thats not my preferred platform to play on.

After 16 more hours and a few wins I can safely say this game is incredibly addicting. There is some jank like items that are very underwhelming and some bugs like nubby getting stuck. But outside of those small things for a new game its pretty incredible. Simple, easy to pick up, hard to master, and you must pray to the RNGesus.

In all seriousness. I thought it would be a pick up, play for 20 mins, put down kinda game. Nah im spending hours trying to play this Peggle 2 Nostalgia Boogaloo game trying to get a highscore.

Dev has already said hes upgrading the game and going to add achievements later and make the achievements worthwhile. The game is very fun as is, but im excited to see what the dev does.

Overall: 8.5/10
Addiction Level: Nubby's Number Market/10

So far played for a few hours and absolutely loving the game. The unlocks are slow but steady, card and deck combos vary each run, relics and dice add a nice boost to power periodically, and tons of events which lead to replayability.

Im extremely picky when it comes to Roguelike Deckbuilders. Most are far too easy or overwhelmingly hard for 0 reason. This strikes the hard to achieve balance of easy to pick up, hard to master. There are tools in here which allow you to completely break the game. Ive already run across several "one click" builds in my few hours on day 1.

The best thing is it seems they encourage it. Certain upgrades to cards synergize 1:1 with other cards of other colors leading to some very broken combos.

To give you an idea my shortlist of Deckbuilders are as follows.

1. Slay the Spire
2. Monster Train 1 (and 2 so far, check out their demo)
3. Vault of the Void.

This is resting comfortably between monster train and vault of the void right now. Time will tell if it stays there but this is certainly a nice change of pace from all the hearthstone/bad sts clones!
