It plays like a not-quite-ready alpha. I was ready to forgive until I found out it was nearly a decade old.

There are also some really bad game design decisions. Like super long cut scenes to explain the story instead of showing you through game-play.

Melee combat and other animations like jump are just silly. No audio in footsteps, gunfire (yeah I turned it on in audio).

Great concept story. Someone else should redo this in modern guise. I would pay for it. Won't play this for free.

Just saw a review by Josh Strife Hayes. Seems this game was reworked since 2017 so looks like its time for another test play.

Fallen Earth has it's problems but to say it plays like an alpha is absurd. I have to wonder if you've ever played an alpha.

StinkySQL made 1 of 650 achivements in game. Well, explaining cutscene is long in fact. And there is more through game-play of that story. You just finished this game before it even started ;) Well, you're not even know how it plays.
But fact: the gfx is old, so no expect miracles. :steammocking:
