Back in my day...this was played in a web browser. All the Papa's games were, it was a simpler time. You'd play it when you had down time in the computer lab. You'd go home and play it there too when you were bored, or wanted something simple to do. Then you'd have to get off your computer because Grandma needed to use the phone. Ah yes...

Hope all the Papa's games come to Steam. Burgeria was my favorite. :)

10/10 game. No good story needed when it scratches the right itch.

Surprisingly relaxing, and for $3 it's not a bad game! I got it on sale for $0.74 and honestly, at that price it's an absolute steal. If you think this isn't worth $3 wait till it goes on sale again, buy it for cheaper. Honestly a great game overall if you just want to relax and not think too hard.

This game is the epitome of a Cozy Game, and it scratches my need to organize in all the right places. Would easily recommend this for anyone who enjoys Cozy games. 10/10.

If a Dev manages to see this...please please please...give us the option to help Owen hook up with Amirah. I may want him for myself but Amirah is the girl of his dreams. I wanna help that sweet man achieve his dreams even if it ain't with me. T_T

I can agree that the characters need a bit more life to them, I can see where this has improvements of MTAP, and I can't wait to see what they do with it. The only gripe I have are the LONG loading times, and my PC isn't like top of the line but it's pretty mid to higher end. I feel the load time is a little rough but overall? Fantastic game, and I hope the improvements keep coming.

If you're looking to buy the game, I got it on sale, I think even the base price still makes this a title worth getting if you liked MTAP, or if you like RPG's with a Stardew twist. Combat is fairly fluid for me, VA is also pretty good! I don't have many hrs in the game but I plan to change it.

Do you not have any friends? Do you also want to be an amateur detective? Do you also want to have some of the cutest interactions ever known by man? Well buy this game. I have bought this game not once, not twice but three times. Once for the PS2 {The Original Persona 4} then again for PSP, now again for PC. Not only is the story awesome but all the side characters you meet don't feel like mindless interaction and have very nice stories that wrap up nicely if you work for/towards it.

The music in this game is amazing. I find myself singing it or humming it from time to time. In comparison to AAA games nowadays it's not nearly as graphically impressive but it still holds up in certain dungeons for setting the mood. The voice acting still holds up and is superb. The game itself, is worth the full asking price. If you manage to grab it on sale it's an absolute steal.

~~ TL;DR ~~

Gameplay: Fun, engaging and easy to understand.
Graphics: Still good considering the time it was made, 2D animations are great. Not comparable to AAA games today though.
Voice Acting: Still holds up, still great.
Music: Absolutely bumpin'.
Price: Fair, and well worth for full asking price - absolute steal when on sale.
Overall Score: 10/10 Game

TL;DR Down below

To start off I’ve played this series {and the Delicious Series} nearly all the way through. I was excited to see this and I bought it right away. There’s a reason I wouldn’t recommend this for those that enjoy Time Management games or this series.

- Is it the story? No. The story carries on! And I will play through just for that but not without aggravation. Imo Heart’s Medicine has a better story than Delicious just my opinion.
- Is it the mini-games? No, they’re not hard at all! My Mouse coordination isn’t always the best when I play sometimes but they’re not bad honestly and the mini-game challenges pretty much put you through practice to perfect them.
- Are the graphics worse?! Nope! Pretty solid! Even so, you don’t play these games for the graphics let’s be honest that’s what Red Dead Redemption 2 is for 😉

So what’s the problem?

So I’ve played through all of the first section {The Clinic} as of writing this review. I like that there’s a lot of content! I like that there’s way more challenges to complete to each section. However, I don’t like that I have to replay certain levels two, three, or even four times. Yup…four times. Now maybe I’m just bad at Time Management games, maybe my mouse skills suck. However, what do you do with lvl A28? This isn’t a spoiler really but just in case someone thinks so here’s my explanation as to why levels like A28 in particular is bad:

In A28, you must have Sophia ready before someone even asks for her. Now, there’s a card you can buy before you even get there that upgrades the intercom allowing you to call her and she waits! Nice right? Except she treats people at the speed of snail. “You can upgrade her speed right?” I hear you ask in optimistic curiosity. NO. You think it’s that easy? No, you get a card for her treatment speed AFTER you complete that {that is if you do all the levels at the bottom path and work your way up}. The issue with this challenge is you must sacrifice points to get the challenge done and then you have to sacrifice the challenge to get the points to do it less times. I believe I did it 4 times. Part of that was the first time I didn’t really understand how slow she would be nor could I predict three people would come in a row and ask for her. So, I chose to sacrifice hearts the second time, and the last two times I had to grind the points.

This is the first time you have to do this. Some other levels you have to sacrifice points for the challenge or vice versa. The constant pattern of having to grind the points bothers me…a lot. Maybe it’s easier with “maxed” upgrades, but I don’t know. I assume the high score you see after you fill all 5 stars is what you needed to fill those 5 stars in the first place {I could be wrong}, if that is the case then it makes no sense that you can’t do it the first run through in the first place. I do like that we can call in the next patient {I don’t remember if this was in previous games, but I don’t remember it} and maybe you need to use that more than I do, but regardless it should be possible without that. It was in the previous iterations. I haven’t played the past games in a while so my memory is off on how I went through them, but I don’t ever remember having to repeat nearly every level just to get the full stars.

TL;DR: I’ve put that I can’t recommend this game NOT because I don’t enjoy the story or even the mechanics of the game itself but because it deviated from the previous games on how you got there. The previous games were casual, fun, and inviting. This game is tedious, grindy, and not inviting. That’s my personal opinion, as someone who tends to only 100% Time Management games {aside from a few other games that I’m working on or plan to 100%} I do that because while not always easy they are relaxing and enjoyable. I like this games story; I even like the mini-games! I don’t like the grind, that’s not what I play games like this for maybe others do but, I don’t. If you can nab it on sale like I did and don’t mind the slower progression from past games then go for it! Otherwise, it’s a big grind and the previous games aren’t that bad. The previous games you can complete in one go, maybe two at most.

TL;DR will be at the bottom.

Red Dead Redemption 2 {or as I like to call it, YEEHAWWW Simulator} allows you to fully immerse yourself in the world we never knew personally. You can create small bonds with your gang members {though not explicitly done you basically have nice side bar conversations that warm your heart or jabbing side bars that feed your evil soul, your preference, no judgement}. You can bond with your horse, redeem yourself by being an honest man, be a hunting mountain man surviving off the land, be a true outlaw, or all the above, either way you will find that you will spend hours upon hours exploring what this game truly has to offer. As of writing this I spent 52 hrs in the game and I'm still only in chapter 3. I've spent hours hunting, fishing, gathering, and enjoying the game playing as a character I've already grown to love.

There is only two true rules to this game. 1. ALWAYS ANTAGONIZE MICAH. 2. ALWAYS PET THE DOG.

Rockstar did an amazing job, bringing back characters, making them both new and familiar to new and returning players. They made Arthur possibly one of the best characters you get the pleasure of playing, an outlaw since teenage-hood but now as he gets older is questioning the validity of being an outlaw, seeking redemption later on before his demise. You grow to love Arthur and the others {aside from Micah unless you do to which again no judgement} as time goes on. You have the choice of following the path of High Honor or Low Honor, I personally on my first play-through am/went with High Honor after a few missions and seeing what Arthur was like with others it made the most sense.

Rockstar also did an amazing job with the villains in this game. From the beginning they make Micah Bell coarse, and on the surface unlikable. You think "Maybe he'll be better with time." Not the case. Micah Bell continues to turn into this evil virus that begins to spread through the camp, only continuing your hatred for him. I choose to let this fuel why Arthur is a good honorable man but you can choose to let it infect Arthur too.

Overall, this game has me addicted, I have little to say on the online aspects as I have yet to finish the story. That being said, the game is strikingly beautiful, a joy to play and I can see myself playing this game over and over just to unlock everything. Normally with triple A games I don't bother going for 100% completion...I think this might be an exception to that.

TL;DR: Literally worth every penny. Great story, great story progression, great characters, well written, FANTASTIC music, loads of fun to play if you're into playing semi-grindy games, or enjoy open worlds with live interaction possibilities. If you have yet to buy this game you're doing yourself a true disservice. As of writing I only have 52 hrs, and still on Chapter 3, this game paid for itself for me.

As Crewmen you and your friends band together to defeat the Imposters. Unless your friend is the Imposter in which case you must try and defeat them, unless you are the Imposter in which murdering your friends and their friends is your only goal. What else can one say except...it's a good game.

It's worth the money you spend. Great way to learn to distrust your friends. Also a great way to learn to lie. Also, addictive. Just get it. :)

A farming sim that you can play with friends? Good music? Original creator still makes content for free? Why are you still reading when you should be buying this game and playing it.
