Dead Space 2 is a sequel to the sci-fi horror, which is preceded by a reputation and scares only when its name is pronounced. EA almost broke his neck, the creative power of the original producers left the ship, and history repeats itself. The game is based on an animated film, massive support from the publisher and a necessary step for building a brand. However, Isaac Clarke does not need any tantiums, after a terrifying experience on the spaceship USG Ishimura, his mind is exploited by nightmares. Where he wakes up, no one with common sense can exist. And it is here, at the Titan station orbiting Saturn's orbit, that you begin your journey of survival.

Dead Space highlighted the exceptional atmosphere and hellishly lively soundscape, it was not only applauded for these qualities, the otherness also played a role and the acute lack of sci-fi horror, if you look back over time you will find that the original original suffered from extremely unoriginal backtracking. at the end he uncovered a schematic structure, as if it were designed by the Bungie masters. Dead Space 2 tries to repeat the mistake of its predecessor, but only until it starts parodying itself and strange things don't start happening when you get on the transport train. Simply put, the set of wagons will be sent by the game to the hot hells so that the player knows that he will not have to look at absolutely no loading between the chapters.

The authors managed to eliminate dead spots, increased dynamics and the associated higher pace dictated by an eager search for answers to the critical situation that affected Titan and turned its inhabitants into necromorphs. Isaac has to twist his solo, but he is no longer a typical dumb hero. His soul was pressed in, his face appeared more often in the cut scenes and now beware, he even learned to speak! No simple sentence structures, it keeps communication alive and does not slip into sentimental monologues, thus showing its hard determination to fight to the end. As a result, the player does not feel like the only living person who puts a broken mosaic together from audio recordings and found documents.

By moving the story to a huge station, the Visceral Games faced one major problem, how to create fear in the interiors of a colony inhabited by a hundred people? The solution was simpler than turning off the lights everywhere and installing stroboscopes. The environment is as dangerous as the necromorphs, who have welcomed several new additions. Before we turn to disgust, disgusting decadence, and evil applied to the innocent bodies of children, who tear their eardrums with a squeak, and a throaty cry accompanies them on their way out of the world when they taste the pleasure of the blue beam of the cutter in your hands, there is light in Dead Space 2 , too much light.

A relative feeling of security will be offered by artificial interior lighting only once, after the first scary experience with a monster that comes to life on the way to a flashing object placed on the counter just in front of the store, you will not believe anything. All you have to do is listen in the service tunnel to the surrounding noises, loud breathing and rubbing the body with the feet of something that could not even be human. While playing, you constantly feel that it can jump on you from anywhere, while the game does not tire of using traditional tricks. He also comes to the back from behind, predictable situations, but when he finds out and it can be an arbitrary release of the water jets in the ceiling, you will not discuss the existence of the script, but a careful procedure, a great desire to survive and thank you that the suit does not need to be washed from the inside.

Dead Space 2 lives its own life and history. In such a game, it is very difficult to say something wise in the end, perhaps just so much that EA did it again. A prototype of modern horror has been born, which will not fill you with tons of enemies, but will not keep you from escaping from a place where it is impossible not to return again. The high motivating factor of upgrades, changing the weapon arsenal, opening secret nooks, unlocking costumes and the super difficulty of Hard Core cannot be said no. It will suffocate you, yes, it will exhaust you mentally, and even if you are tense like a string, you will play it again. Dead Space 2 is unique, the only mistake in this scary experience is that it will never be mainstream. And maybe that's good too.

I personally rate the game 9/10

+ Sample sequel
+ Motivational replayability
+ Excellent handling of fear and tension, diabolical atmosphere
+ Weightless fights
+ Great gradient from start to finish

- Multiplayer lacks the required depth
- Unbalanced weapons arsenal
- Abstraction of artificial intelligence
- Few enemies

With the current economic problems, you may realize that humanity has built up huge hardships with the crew working on the corroding space planets and the planet in search of mineral wealth. USG Ishimpozice, massive use of floor ship. Once Captain Ishimura exceeds his powers, it can be used on a forbidden planet, where he encountered only solid deposit minerals, but concentrated evil. The people in the crew turned into a horde of carnivorous mutants.

The tragic story of Ishimura is communicated through found video and audio recordings, similar to Bioshock or System Shock. You hear and see horrible things. In the audio log, you will learn how one of the workers comes to the conclusion that the protection against the mutation is only through the shooting of his own limbs - after the mutation, he will no longer be able to harm anyone. Shots and a roar follow. At other times you watch the horrific murder of the captain or watch in several audio recordings the hopeless search for the mistress of one engineer. After some time, information emerges about a sect that considers the mutation evidence of deification and intends to spread and support it. Maybe mining on the forbidden planet was not accidental. What began for you as Ishimura's rescue mission becomes the salvation of all mankind - and the main protagonist, engineer Isaac Clark.

The dark universe, the mutants, and the ravaged Ishimura include emptiness and weightlessness. In several cases, you will look at the outer shell of the ship, where you will be pushed by a lack of oxygen in the pressure tank of the armor and the movement will be possible mainly by jumping from the ceiling to the floor. The camera maintains a single orientation in such demanding maneuvers, and this is important because these are the sections where most tasks are solved. The repertoire of puzzles is not large at all, it is usually a matter of placing a part in a machine or turning on a computer system or finding a key, but primitivity is overwhelmed by a well-managed unusual movement. About halfway through the game, the pace of the game accelerates and more intense skirmishes ensue, because the authors have well understood that the potential of the puzzles has been exhausted and it is necessary to speed up the narration and upgrade it to the point. For some unknown reason, the point is revealed in a recently published trailer, so don't look at it for sure if you want to be surprised. As a result, the game treads like a watch, and the eight hours it takes to complete normal difficulty are charged with bursting events.

Do you like surprises? Yes? Then Dead Space will surprise you with perfectly mastered content, strict genre and dynamism with which it is played. This is exactly what the products of authors who are trying to create a stylishly polished game should look like. Dead Space does not bring a revolution, it does not bring anything fundamentally new, it draws from the legacy of horror and survival games and it is simply and perfectly made. Letting such a gem escape is like not going to the cinema for a universally sung film. If you don't already own this great game from EA, don't hesitate and go to the store you won't regret it.

I personally rate the game 9/10

Postive

+ Gradually thickeningatmosphere
+ Options improvement
+ Motivation to play repeatedly
+ The need for a number of choices

Negative

- Behavior of mutants
- Slower start of the action
- Annoying friends on the radio
- The same mutants are often repeated

When I played Exodus for the first time last year at Gamescome, I thought: It looks great, but ... is it still Metro? No more dark tunnels in the bowels of Moscow, no more abandoned busy, no anomalies, transfer stations turned into small settlements or, in most cases, burial grounds full of horror. Nevertheless, the uniqueness of the series, as well as its name, drew the most from where it was situated - into the post-apocalyptic metropolis, more precisely, its underground train system.

But now I realize that Metro is much more than just ... metro. Glukhovsky's bestseller describes the morbid and violent renaissance of humanity, the rebirth of civilization, which, however, is basically only a return to the primitive era, moreover full of repetition of old mistakes. While Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light revealed that man's need to stand over others is alive in a corpse, where governments have taken over the revived Nazi and Communist factions, Exodus goes further. During one game year he will transfer the player not only to different parts of post-apocalyptic Russia, but especially to cultures that arose - or only returned after hundreds or thousands of years - after the bombs hit. Sectarian religion, cannibalism or slavery; wherever you move, as the Christians in the new Subway, there is a separate, very sad, and convincingly drawn chapter of the human “book of survival”. And it is full of horror, often not even horror intestines of the Moscow underground full of corpses, monsters and huge spiders

Each part of the game, which is stylized not only to different locations, but also to different seasons, is associated with the previous and following predominantly linear story. The 23-year-old Arťom, now an experienced and respected member of the elite Spartans unit, as a combat group's main explorer, is being broadcast to unexplored parts by a nuclear shootout of a mutilated Russia. The game starts in the subway, but it is only a fraction of this sandbox visual feast. If there is something that impressed me after just the first ten minutes, it was the great atmosphere of post-war Russian mother wrapped in luxurious graphics. Visually, Metro Exodus is a beautiful ode to destruction and disintegration, plus you don't need strictly high-end cards.

It's hard to tell if Metro Exodus is the best game in the series, but it's definitely a great post-apocalyptic title. It is different from the previous parts, much more massive and less solitary, but at the same time it is a sharp departure from the atmosphere of its predecessors. Luckily, however, the game is closer to titles such as Far Cry, Rage or Mad Max, fortunately, without boring cotton pads in the form of casting camps and basic or revealing the map. It is a linear but profound experience and a natural evolutionary step in the chapter of the amazing stories of the Moscow metro settlers. All thumbs up.

I personally rate the game 9/10

+ diversity also in the case of weapons and their adaptability
+ sympathetic main characters to whom you create a relationship
+ dynamic weather and day / night cycle
+ large sandbox maps including Madmax Caspik

PUBG didn’t kickstart the Battle Royale genre, but it was the first to refine all the elements and really make them work. Inspired by Kinji Fukasaku’s 2000 movie, a Battle Royale game sees a large number of players thrown into a single area – in PUBG’s case, 100 – where they battle it out until only one survives. To improve their chances they can scavenge for weapons, weapon modifications, body armour and ammo, all of which give them some hope of not dying within the first seconds of a gunfight.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has taken the military-sim gameplay popularized by games like ARMA and DayZ, boiled it down to its most exciting parts, and streamlined it into quick and accessible rounds of pure, hassle-free, survival-based action. Even though each game starts the same way, its remarkable ability to feel like a new, tense adventure each and every round has kept me coming back for hours on end.

While PUBG focuses on executing the core mechanics that make battle royale-like games great, it lacks technical refinement. At launch, PUBG is noticeably improved from its early access days, but frame rates can still fluctuate inexplicably. Even a high-end PC can have trouble maintaining a consistent framerate with relatively modest graphics settings, evidence of PUBG's ongoing optimization struggles.

PUBG's technical shortcomings can undermine its broader achievements on rare occasions, but they don't override your desire to continue playing. Each phase of a match presents a different type of tension that is equal parts thrilling and terrifying, driven by the insatiable desire to be the last person (or squad) standing. Whether you play solo or in a group, successfully executing adaptive tactics to win intense, high-stakes firefights makes for an incredibly rewarding experience. Every player has unique stories of their most memorable matches, and even after hundreds of hours, PUBG continues to inspire rousing tales of victory and defeat.

Postive

+The high-stakes nature of combat makes enemy engagement a constant thrill
+Emergent tactical situations whether you play solo, in a duo, or with a full squad
+Intrinsically rewarding; strong sense of accomplishment
+Unpredictable variables make each match feel unique
Negative

-Technical problems (crashes, glitches) can ruin a good match
-No in-game guides or tutorials
-Unpredictable performance hits, even on high-end hardware

Polish Developers from Movie Games Lunarium just recently brought to PC their next title, trying to get through the genre of horror games. This is a Lust for Darkness, the presentation of which was based on a very intense sexual subtone, without a certain dose of occultism or extraterrestrial mood. The authors associate only a few themes that try to overcome the story's needs. In the game, we get into a classical reality, but there is essentially a cult in a Victorian chateau whose sense of endless delight. However, it is linked to the extraterrestrial dimension - Lusst'ghaa, which is overwhelmed by extraterrestrial monsters.

Although the people of Lusst'ghaa originally resembled ordinary people on Earth, it was precisely because of the experiments that various transformations were made to make as much fun as possible, making them a terrifying monster. After the hundreds of years that have survived in these forms, the area has been transformed from an alien species and repulsive creatures that are indulging in infinite adventures. Well, after this description, the game can act as a very interesting psychological horror that could have the potential to bring what players expect from similarly tuned titles. But if you have high expectations, you can quietly move them a few levels below to ultimately not be disappointed.

Horror games and movies are such a specific genre that only a minimal of such work can bring something that would make the demanding audience interested. The most important factor in such games is the way creators can get the player into a situation they are really afraid of. Building a stressful atmosphere is very important, but no one likes to try out the feeling of fear by very old and already redeemed tricks, which in many cases do not work because of their frequent use. Obviously, this also applies to Lust for Darkness. For some reason, the creators decided to use classic jump-scare elements to increase the volume of unpleasant music or screaming. In short, the consistent build-up of the atmosphere or the gradual build-up of pressure on the psyche of the player is simply woefully lacking.

Lust for Darkness is rather disappointing. Based on the presented pictures and videos, I was expecting something more than a three-hour shallow story and horror cliché. From absolute meanness, the game gets the gameplay, the theme itself and its visual presentation.

In spite of all the promises of the authors, Lust for Darkness is just another titillating title that, apart from two courageous scenes, does not offer anything we do not have many times. For example, when I compare it with a similar genre Outlast, it really is misery.

I personally rate the game 5/10

Positive

+ Visual presentation
+ Unpretentious playability
+ Interesting subject

Negative

- A shallow and predictable story
- Rather horror cliches like full horror
- Short game time
- Processing another dimension is not powerful

One of the best golf games on the market. Sadly, in order for this game to compete with the others on Steam, it needs to add Steam Workshop support. With this people can create their own custom 18 holes, share them, have other people download them and have their own friends play on the custom map.

I recommend 100% :)

If you survived something terrible and the environment of that terrible experience, you should be fresh in mind every day. I believe you would never want to return to that place. Would you believe anything to change your mind? Do you respond negatively? What if there was someone in that place who you love and who cares about you? Still shake your head, do not you? I'm disappointed with you!

This is at least impossible to say about the former detective named Sebastian Castellanos. This name says a lot to you, I have a good message. Sebastian is back, more desperate than ever before. The terrible experience of the Beacon Mental Hospital, he pursues him at every step. The demons of the past have their shuffles stuck in his mind deeper than the bottom of his alcoholism. She sits in the bar and always thinks of one thing, but it's not Ruvik and the hell he had to go through because of him.

It is his daughter that came when his house was burned.A memory of her constantly causes a pain in her heart, which she can comfort only by rubbing her gut with alcohol. When she no longer hopes that she would ever see her, a familiar face appears before her. Julie Kidman! I will not tell you anymore, many of you might think of as a spoiler. That's why I'm recommending this great sequel to buy and play.

Positive

+ Stealth killing
+ Bosses
+ Production and improvement
+ Sounds
+ Gameplay and resource management
+ Excellent visual design

Negative

- Predictable story
- Bugs
- Pathetic story
- Camera

Outlast is horror to the bone of the bones. You'll really be afraid, and you'll scream at the same time
The lethal scenes are blessed in this title, and the first time your heartbeat is accelerating as often as Miles's.
As soon as he goes into the rigid, the reporter himself begins to breathe deeply, to moan, and it is clear that he is sweating to the back of his ass. His behavior underlines the atmosphere that could be cut. In the case of Outlast with a large butcher knife.

Miles is equipped with a camera that records all the horrors that happened in the sanatorium. The camera can zoom in, so you can see massacre even over a long distance, and most importantly, it has a night vision mode. So you will not be lost in dark corridors. Browsing Locations with night vision turned on also captures the atmosphere and multiplies all the horror that the game is already full of. You need batteries in the camera, but fortunately, those are in the sanatorium.

If you like to be afraid, Outlast is a great one. Developers know how to get into the head, and when they are there, they actually play a textbook with you. So go ahead and give them money so they can do something else, and this time you need to hire a screenwriter.

Positive

+ Really scary
+ Full sick scenes
+ Smart use of your camcorder
+ Absence of fighting sits the concept of the game
+ Price

Negative

- Linear and full scripted scenes
- Weaker conclusion
- Relatively short

In contrast to other Telltale games, Batman offers several completely new roles. You've got used to telling Telltale Adventures a little bit, clicking a little, choosing a lot of options in the dialogues that reminds you of how someone remembers something. Especially you are watching a lot while pressing and holding a button that will pop up on the screen. It could be said Telltale a little more back to the adventurous roots, as they also present a few puzzles to be solved. After all, you play in the skin of the best detective.

The game does not really offer much content or game time - finish it all in a cool weekend. On the other hand, he offers a brilliant Batman's story that can pull the player with the power of a black hole, a great dubbing of Troy Baker. Some technical glitch appears from time to time, so the characters on the screen will be dancing on the screen in a hearty scene, or clear shadows from all around.

I personally rate the game 3/5

Positive

+ a great mix of new and used elements of the universe
+ the choice of Batman / Bruce Wayne
+ the main characters and their dubbing
+ You use action passages
+ music

Negative

- Bad technical condition
 - Playing time
 - A weak conclusion, the game is just the beginning of something bigger

When it seemed that the on-rails shooters were buried deep underground, Blue Estate appeared to show that even today it can be fun, especially thanks to movement control. Developers have done a good job because Blue Estate has not only entertaining gameplay but also crazy characters and funny moments, on the other hand, the game could be longer and offer more modes. This is good entertainment for a few hours, at a slightly higher price.
