Honestly I'm really enjoying the game, but the obsession with disabling achievements has to stop. Using *ANY* console commands disable achievements.

Well I play using a Dualsense controller, which Oblivion supports fully, including the Adaptive Triggers feature which can make the triggers offer more or less resistance during gameplay. I'm over 40 and I don't need my game controllers making my fingers work any harder than they already have to. But the devs didn't bother giving us an option to disable the Adaptive Triggers in-game. Luckily there's a console command to disable them.

But using it disables achievements.

A found a mod that is supposed to allow achievements anyway but it doesn't seem to work (at least not consistently) so I'm at square one. Having an option in-game to disable Adaptive Triggers is simply a must-have. Until it gets added the game gets a No vote from me.

I was looking for something more realistic compared to THPS, so I picked this up on sale. The first two hours were great, I had a lot of fun. Some of the objectives were tricky because the game can mis-read tricks sometimes. Other than that I wasn't having many issues at all.

But not long after the two hour mark my skater just couldn't stay on the board. I would stand up, push, and immediately fall over. Sometimes I get a push or two, but then he falls again.

I bought my first skateboard IRL yesterday and spent 45 minutes just pushing back and forth down my driveway and fell less than my character in Session does.

Cool.

The best game for Xbox 360 finally gets a re-release and it's everything I remember. And it's free! Simple fun twin-stick shooter. Stop reading this and play it! It'll probably run on the toaster you call a laptop!

This is the definitive version of Final Fantasy III that I always hoped we'd get, but never imagined we actually would.

Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a lovely fantasy adventure done in the style of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. The game may be shorter and more linear than your standard Metroidvania fare, but it never felt lacking to me.

Most importantly the game is just really fun. Every time I stepped away from the computer I was always looking forward to coming back to play again. The gameplay is solid, the combat is fun and keeps you on your toes, and the game brings enough new ideas to the formula to stand out among its peers.

Let's talk about the visual style. Deedlit has colorful and beautiful pixel art and the characters and monsters are all very well animated. Speaking of monsters, the game does a great job of taking advantage of background elements and layering to make encounters just a bit more interesting, especially near the late game and during a few boss fights.

The game world is sectioned off into stages and each stage has a unique visual style that ensures you won't forget where you are. I suppose these stages could have had a bit more character to them, but I didn't mind. I find that toning down the backgrounds helps me focus on the action and some games easily go overboard with detail. While the main path is linear, there are several shortcuts and side paths that open up as you play and the map does a great job of helping you keep track of what locations are now open to you thanks to the color coded doors.

Length wise I finished the story in just under 7 hours, but those looking for all the achievements, or to finish all the game modes will likely get a few more hours out of it thanks to the Boss Rush and NG+ modes. While 7 hours sounds pretty short, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

This is an easy recommendation for me, especially for fans of Metroidvanias and classic fantasy adventure.

If you're a fan of adventure games, of open world games, of great storytelling, of space flight, or of science, do yourself a favor, stop reading about the game, don't look up any videos. Just play this game whenever you get a chance.

The story of Luneth, a child who falls into a dark cave. He finds some strangely colored water and drinks it without question after which he hallucinates for 30+ hours about airships, submarines, flooded worlds, crystal towers, old men that are also monsters, old women that are also monsters, ninjas, vikings, AND knights working together, and a final battle against an evil Cloud.
