I think KoA is a solid 7 out of 10 game. I would call this game Skyrim with DMC combat. I think the biggest issue with this game is that instead of being a well polished RPG or tightly paced action game you kind of just get a mediocre version of both. I have played this game for almost 150 hours and while I've had fun being a mage you can obliterate waves of enemies with a lightning storm I can't tell you much about the story or the world. Now that I am done I don't think I would play it again but it was a fun ride if you like games like Skyrim and Witcher 3 but be ready for something a little more generic.

There are far too many bugs and required tweaks to even make the game playable.

Let me start by saying the negative reviews are valid, Rockstar bungled the release of this game. I had to struggle with my settings to get the game working and its understandable that some may not want to go through this hassle when I game that matches your specs should just install and work.

That being said, once I got the game working it was a masterpiece. This game has a story that choked me up at certain points but it still delivers on its promise horse ridin, gun shootin, cowboy action. I would put this up with the original Bioshock as games that could be literature.

The level design is good but the jump controls are terrible.

This game is fun but unlocking the items is a bit of a grind fest
