Old school, difficult, brutal.

Lässt sich nach NUR 12 Jahren endlich mithilfe des kostenlosen "Left 4 Dead 2 - Uncensored" DLC auch in Deutschland unzensiert zocken. Und das für nur 1,63€ im Sale.

A nice game that I had a lot of fun with. However, it feels quite rough here and there, like it was rushed a bit and things are missing that were planned to be part of the game. I also wish there was more to explore, secrets to find, etc. Controls cannot be rebound in-game, German translation is sometimes not the best (and Russian too from what I've heard). There's still some unfixed bugs here and there, including issues with achievements.
Most annoying: despite having been ported to mac and all major consoles there is no Linux port and probably will never be.
So overall I have to give this a negative rating. Buy this game only on discount if you really want to play it.

Der Vorgänger war klasse, der Nachfolger macht kaum Spaß.

Anstatt zwischen ein paar Waffen zu wechseln und um sich zu schießen muss man hier auch noch auf Granaten, Flammenwerfer und anderes zurück greifen, was wiederum alles auf separate Tasten gebunden ist. Dabei will ich doch bloß ballern, wie beim Klassik-Doom, Quake oder Serious Sam. Die einfachere Spielmechanik des ersten Titels wäre mir viel lieber gewesen. Das Spiel ist unnötig kompliziert, frustrierend, die Dash-Parts über irgendwelchen Abgründen nerven, und selbst der einfachste Schwierigkeitsgrad ist mir noch zu anstrengend (mit Doom 2016 auf Nightmare kam ich hingegen gut klar). Absolutes Frust-Spiel.

Wenn ich es nicht schon zu lange angezockt hätte würde ich einen Refund machen und mir stattdessen ein Let's Play ansehen.

Positives: das Spiel sieht gut aus, läuft problemlos auf Linux und lässt sich gut mit PS4-Controller steuern.

This DLC is unfortunately very broken. The game crashes almost every time you die or restart a checkpoint, making it a very frustrating experience. I never had these issues on the main game or the other DLC levels. The level itself is also not very interesting.

I think Halo is a pretty cool guy. Eh kills aleins and doesnt afraid of anything.

Definitely recommended to any fan of Tsutomu Nihei's works.
