"Look at you hacker, a pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you run through my corridors."

I'm glad I can enjoy really enhanced version of SS1, original one is too janky for my taste.
Also thank you Nightdive for free SS2 Remaster.

Amazing brutal beat 'em up where you need to fight for freedom in a dystopian cyberpunk prison. It kinda reminds me of LET IT DIE. Main character can get a lot of different upgrades and augmentations (with synergies). There are also multiple difficulty settings and arena mode.

Good expansion but for its price is too short so better wait for discount.

Surge 2 is a good game, no doubt about it, just not so good as the first one. I like new parry system, weapon and enemy variety, world building and how city changes through the story. I don't like story at all, some basic garbage about saving a girl and you play as a big nobody who don't have any personality. NPCs are awfully stupid, just talking puppets, the only one interesting character is Warren from first game. First half of the game was too boring, level design and city layout are very confusing but when you got all tools/shortcuts to traverse the locations it's becoming alright. Combat kinda lost a little bit of weight but became very aggressive and fast. Bosses are serious lacklaster, there are some decent encounters but others are reskins of basic enemy types.
Overall it was a very fun experience, just with some bad game design decisions.

It's amazing how you can interact with enviroment and move around in this game. Feels like you're always in CONTROL.

Very good DLC, new enemies/bosses are fun to fight and new armors/weapons are very useful. Also theme park itself is interesting to explore.

I can't believe how quickly I fell in love with this game. It has good story premice, amazing setting and very brutal combat system. Weapon impact is beyond fantastic, you can slice off body parts from enemies and also feel the weight of your tools of justice. Level design is pretty solid, you always making progression to unlock new parts of maps (which are HUGE) or shortcuts. Exploration is always rewarded.
Overall in my opinion The Surge is a very underrated game, it deserves much better.

Tremendous game. Like classic Resident Evil titles from PS1 but very-very cute and you can turn camera around.
