DooM 3 meets Chasm: The Rift
This is the game I needed

A terrible downgrade from the first act that manages to look even worse on a superior engine. Feels and plays like your generic asset flipped indie horror game.

I know this is an early access game and I have no problem with that, but there's something deep in the core of the game that I don't like. It just doesn't feel like Postal anymore, more like "Random everyman does supposedly funny stuff" just like it was in Paradise Lost. You know how the first game was a dark mass murder simulator, the second a "social experiment" where you're tested against schizophrenic citizens of Paradise and the game just wants you to snap, and the third game having an interesting "are you a good or a bad guy" idea despite the rest of it being a buggy and linear mess. Do you see a pattern here? It's all related to society issues. Do we see that in Postal 4? Not at the moment. I'd really like this title to be different from PL in this case and overall would be interested to see more stuff related to Edensin citizens. The only reason you'd shoot up everyone in game right now is out of pure boredom, unlike in Postal 2 where I for example tried to complete the game as a pacifist but got so fed up with everyone being utterly stupid and annoying I let myself into rampage.

TL;DR — The tasks should feel less random and more oriented to "social experiment" nature of Postal 2 that made it unique.

Max Payne meets Punisher meets Kane&Lynch meets Call of Duty. A beautiful mistake like some other review said.
