From a game mechanics perspective, it's quite mid.
However, if you are a fan of the harry potter universe, this game really delivers. There's the joy of walking around the castle, and the Scottish countryside is beautiful.
The story isn't amazing, the characters aren't deep.
But I had fun.

I built an axe, and cut down a tree. The tree fell on me and I died.
10/10 would experience physics again.

This game, serves as an intersection point between some of my favourite things.
Coop play, spaceships, rts, 4x. Runs on a brick. Immense strategic depth.
Very customisable opponents, with fine grained control from very easy, to near impossible, to downright amusing.
Designed so you and your friends can have fun right to the finish, as long as one of you holds out, the rest can still make valuable contributions.
The dev seems like a Nice Guy.
The soundtrack I find quite relaxing, and I have been known to leave the game open just for that.
