Game 10/10
Soundtrack 11/10

Look it up on Spotify or YouTube if you don't want to buy it. The soundtrack is pure bliss.

This game is incredibly well-designed.

Well-balanced. Plays like Civilization, but in real-time instead of turn-based. There are several victory conditions, several clans with different specialties, and the map is randomly generated each game. Games last about an hour rather than the 8-12 hours per game of Civilization.

Combat is crisp, but overall the game is centered around real strategy rather than actions per minute. It moves just slow enough to let you plan your next move carefully but just fast enough that you're always shifting from once point of focus to the next.

The authors know their stuff about Norse culture. You'll see elements of real Norse life and mythology in every part of the game.

All this game needs is some kind of matchmaking. Multiplayer is lobby-based right now so you'll have to wait a while to get into a game unless you invite others to play. Not really an issue though, since singleplayer is challenging, engaging, and fresh even after 25 hours of play.

This is a flash game, really.

It doesn't have very much depth. On the surface level it has lots of mysterious game elements but it doesn't take long to realize that there are no choices to be made; just shoot the dots.

It's got potential but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to someone else.

This software is so incredibly easy to use! With no prior modeling experience I'm pumping out new models every 10 minutes. That's a game changer, excuse the pun.

Yes, some features are behind DLC (the mesh optimization should be free, let's be real) but for 20 dollars you get the basic editor to see if it's right for you. It's not predatory at all, though some people here seem to disagree.

It only took me 10 minutes to learn with their great tutorial. Within 20 minutes I had my first humanoid model. The only thing it's missing is a way to animate the models, but I'm sure something like that is forthcoming. Besides, other programs exist to suit that functionality.

It's great but the mesh optimization should have been included with the base product.

This is an ABSOLUTE must-have for anyone who plans to put their exported models into a video game, especially an app.

One of the best games I've had the pleasure of playing.

I burst into tears on the final level when I saw Coda's message to Davey.

It's surreal, it's artistic, it asks questions, it hurts.

Buy this game and play it. It's part of the Indie Humble Bundle 17 if you're strapped for cash.

Physics system unmatched in any other game.
Like a physics-based GTA. What's not to love?

Jasper Byrne has created a pixellated game so immersive that 8-bit monsters become absolutely terrifying. The several mysterious personalities of Lone Survivor represent the different pieces of your character's psyche, and as the journey goes on you begin to make decisions with a certain sense of mortal and personal albatross. At no point does the game feel like a toy to be played with or a skill to be mastered. There is only survival by any means, and as a player you feel every hit taken, every shot fired, every gruesome corpse as a grave reminder of your own mortality.

This is a truly rare game. It has chilling aesthetics, tense gameplay, and an immersive plot with several endings. Lone Survivor is not a scary game with cheesy jump-scares. It's a true horror survival game with an immersive environment. You won't be able to play this game in one sitting or even a couple days; the human body isn't meant to handle the stress this game imparts for more than a few hours at a time.
