Not only do I blow through my first run in about sixty seconds, as someone who has dealt with severe depression I'm offended that the options I would have taken are displayed but unchoosable, as if they want me to take a specific path instead of doing what I would have done myself. Therefore, I don't get an ending that makes sense to me.

I'm not even going to go into the whole controversey surrounding this "game". This is not a game. If you haven't downloaded it yet, don't bother.

Jumpscares: The Game.

It's annoying when you can tell you're going to die, can even predict "Okay [jumpscare event] is going to happen", and you still jump because of the loud noise. Stupid instincts.

I'll probably keep playing eventually until I beat it, just for completion's sake, but I would avoid it otherwise.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't outstanding. And even for a dollar and change, it was too short. I think total playtime (not counting when I left it open due to going AFK for things) was half an hour at the most generous. It looks, feels, and plays like a Flash point-and-click adventure.

I plan to edit/update this review as soon as I'm able to play it, but as it is, the game launches, goes to the title screen, and no buttons on my keyboard work to progress (I can move left/right with A and D, but Enter and Space do nothing) nor does the mouse display/react.

I've requested help and gotten no direct response, the only "fix" available is "disable your joystick driver" of which I cannot do for I have no joystick.

I have been waiting for months for help. This tells me the devs don't care, which is never a good sign.

This is, essentially, Ghosbusters 3: The Interactive Movie.

While the microtransations aren't absolutely needed, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to have them in a single-player game at all. You CAN get all the in-game money you need, in-game, it just takes a while.

Also, a lot of achievements are broken. There are a few that remain from an earlier version about areas that aren't accessible in the Steam version, for example.

It also gets boring very very fast. I guarantee after like six or seven quests you'll stop reading the dialogue and just click furiously to get through it (I didn't, but I know a bunch of people who had).

I honestly don't believe it was worth the 4 bucks I paid for it. It was the storytelling that killed it for me. Basically, they show something specific at multiple points in the game, including the very beginning, but have something near the end that's supposed to be a big reveal of something we've already known because they showed us already. Like one of those "Don't you see, X is actually Y" moments, except we knew from the start so the impact is lost.

Avoid this waste of seven dollars. It's a fifteen minute Flash demo. I want my money back.

Someone complained about my original post, as I hadn't finished the game yet, but said I was immensely bored. This fact remains after finishing. This was more like a visual novel than an actual game, except no porn involved (from what I read, that's what usually happens in visual novels). Music's...meh, animation's average. There's really no gameplay though, outside of actually moving the character around. It's mostly reading.

Buy this game, FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR FREEDOM. Actually get the pack.
