Just like the title says, it is a game about digging a hole. I recommend this game, if you enjoy that sort of thing in other games. I spent seven hours, over three or four sittings, excavating a spiral ramp. I could not get enough of it. Same thing in Dwarf Fortress or the Astroneer game: I can spend hours digging holes in games, when there are little surprises waiting for me down there.

Used Steam's Proton compatibility software to enjoy this game on an Ubuntu Linux desktop computer. I used a keyboard and mouse for the FPS-style controls. The game uses a Epic game engine. I had one minor technical issues, where the graphics would glitch for a microsecond, whenever I left the toolshed, but otherwise the game ran fine.

This game has injected some fresh ideas in the automation game category with the use of fluid modelling. Everything about playing with my computer screen pixels is fun. Hope it stays with the SANDbox mode, leaving an option for open and creative gameplay.

Really wonderful game. I have only played a dozen hour to scratch the surface, but the user interface and tutorial have been very helpful. I finally built my first base and finished the first-tier crafting, after a dozen hours. There is still so much more to find in this game universe, including NPCs and quest missions. This is just the kind of space exploration, base building gameplay that I have been seeking. Will expand my review as I explore more aspects of the game.

That demo was a fun survival game. Had many hours of fun exploring this little train depot.

Very cool resource management game. No-cost. Check it out. Runs great with Steam's Proton.

Usually not much into platformers, but this narrative-driven adventure kept my interest throughout. It has a nice method of switching between three characters, each with different playstyles. There is the child who explores house by moving platforms, the bearded man who uses tools to open passageways, and the knight who uses combat to advance. I thought the gameplay was surprisingly good, especially the knight-strafing with the gamepad.

So I am not sure why there were so many negative reviews. Admittedly, it is a short game for the full price - although it often goes on sale or gets put into bundles. But the game does one thing that I think many gamers find unforgivable, which is unskippable movie sequences. That forces the player to put down the controller and wait to play again. And the story is not all that great, either. Well, had they put a SKIP button, then I think there would have been less anguish.

There are so many other good parts to the game: the soundscape, the gamepad controls, and the graphics and character animations are especially terrific. I enjoyed the level designs, unusual achievements, and finding the hidden crystals when the faint ringing was heard. I can tell that a lot of time went into making this game special, so I wanted to leave a positive review to counter all the criticism.

A decent point and click game, with a great story. The puzzles got a bit too much for me, about half-way through.
But it is a no-cost game and it has Steam trading cards, so why not add it to your library?
Played it on an Ubuntu Linux desktop with a mouse and keyboard. Used Steam's Proton compatibility software.

Best FMV game that I have ever played. The actors do such a great job, and the high-quality story might have been right out of a "black mirror" episode. The gameplay is a little wonky at times (like not showing the interference mini-game controls) but it is all certainly forgiven for the extras of game story replayability and interesting, comical video bits that can be reviewed between missions. I highly recommend this game to those who are looking for this kind of gameplay, even at the full price. I look forward to checking out the DLC extras, too.

Worked perfectly with Steam's Proton compatibility software, on an Ubuntu Linux desktop computer. I used the keyboard and mouse controls, and I had no technical issues.

Very long CGI movie with some occasional, jumping gameplay.
I guess that's what a sixty dollar game buys you these days.
