meh.

- Extremely convoluted story.
- Protagonist voice acting is horrendous.
- While the environments look amazing, the character models are awful.
- Roman's animations are so bad, his dodge animation is hilariously funny.
- Barely any enemies, janky boss fight, puzzles do not make any contexual sense at all - it feels like I'm giving an aptitude test or somthing.

Just play Tormented Souls. Not worth your four hours.

Started this after playing Rosewater and Detective Dotson and it made me realize how amazing Wadjet Eye Games' writing is. The story progression is so good, throughout the entirety of Chapter 1 there was not a single dull moment. Gameplay is so much more accessible now, no more right click to read text, it's there on hover. Puzzles are so accessible, they make sense and I did not need a walkthrough at any moment (yet). Voice acting is top notch as ever. The only thing I did not like was the shift away from pixel art to american-comic-book-style , but that's just my personal preference.

Cannot recommend this game enough, glad I'm in the chronoshifted timeline where Wadjet Eye Games exists wink wink.

Needs more time in the oven. Started the game with a controller and it's buggy on the Main Menu, poor first impression, you select something and something else gets clicked. No voice acting is a major miss. Game starts by saying your father died then the next second you're smiling, nodding your head and jumping around. There's a lot of jank, enough to break immersion.

Would have been nice to have a sort of intro to characters and things. Maybe the game gets better further down but it didn't hold my interest unfortunately. Not going to refund as it's so cheap but will play again later this year hoping that with a series of patches it becomes better. A little disappointed, I was hoping this would be THE game showcasing good home grown Indian games.

Edit: Changed to positive after quick developer response!

Early Access Review
I was stoked for this game but it's just not fun. The level feels like something out of a fever dream. Giant empty spaces with nothing in between. I get that it's an immersive sim but it's so hard to navigate, everything is just too dark you can barely see anything. I'm at the point where you have to carry a cyborg to the person who gave you the quest and it's such a pain to drag the cyborg all the way back. Even the slightest collision makes you drop the cyborg. I cannot count the number of times I've just ALT+F4ed out of frustration. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this game.

Absolutely loved it. Never played anything like this before. Existential-tech-horror is my new favorite genre.

Please support games like this or you'll keep getting low quality VR slops.

I've played an hour and I can safely say that it's a good game with intuitive VR mechanics. Shooting is satisfying, there's a good story, the atmosphere is amazing and shooting the pulse rifle is so satisfying, just like the movies.

This game is so bad at its current state I'm not even sure if I can play it to the end. This is my first Stalker game and I've just played an hour, the premise is very interesting and I really love the old school inventory management. I miss this from old PC games. The gameplay feels good too. I'll wait for a few patches before playing again and I'd recommend others to do the same, but its a game worth playing.
