Do you want to know how to get veterans???
Well of course you do since you are reading this.

This guide will show you how to:

• How to get Veterans
  
• How to get Veterans of units you don't have unlocked
  
• How to get higher level Veterans

This is what most of you guys are here for, to find out how to get Veterans.



Look at all those Veterans up there(they are not that good ok I was pretty new when I took that screenshot...)

Here are the factors in getting a Veteran:

• They must do a certain amount of damage to recieve Veteran status
  
• They must survive the battle after getting Veteran status

That is what you need to get a Veteran.

If you are maxed out in Veterans you will be allowed to switch them out with new ones if you want to.

Also a little tip: If you don't have a unit unlocked rent it and use it in battle as it can become a veteran.

First place to see your veterans after you make it back to your base is at the little place under your Command Center


If you click your Command Center, then you will have this menu come up. Click the button that says Veterans (You probably knew that since your smart)



That is what is inside the menu

Here is the information for all the buttons:

• Attack the Truck
  • What your Veterans will do when this is enabled is they will go straight out to the enemy truck and try to destroy it, which probably will leave the veteran dead as it will be overwhelmed by troops
• Find Cover
  • What your Veterans will do when this is enabled is they will go and find cover behind sandbags or tank traps or any cover that you have placed and they will just stay there and defend.
• Defend Hq
  • This mode will make your Veterans come out of your HQ once the enemies get pretty close. They will come to defend and try to kill the enemies.

That perk is called the Fast Track perk.
This perk Increases Veteran xp gain.
So all the damage they do gives more xp for getting Veteran


Another way to get veterans is to use riots

Riots are good tanks to use. Paired with extra munitions cards(so you can buy more) they make a good team. They provide good tanking so the troop you want to be veteran can survive and get veteran.

If you are reading this guide you probably don't have riot unlocked like me. What you can do is rent the riot :

That is a rank 2 assault Veteran as you can see with the silver diamonds above him

This part is very simple.

If you want higher level veterans just use your veterans in battle. If they do lots of damage they will be promoted to the next veteran level.

If you have a normal troop in battle and it does lots of damage, it gets promoted right? Well if it does even more tons of damage it will be promoted again and again. A normal troop can be promoted to veteran 3 times, bronze, silver, then gold.

Veterans have lives??!?!?!?

Kind of.


If a Veteran dies in a battle against another player, they will die forever.

The lives are for defense. If someone kills your veteran during defense they won't lose a life.

The only time they lose a life is when you lose a defense.

It Is true.
