Sui's Artifact Codex
By GgSui
Not so much a guide, as a comprehensive list of all unique artifact level drops I have found in the game. Includes pictures and stats when available as well as a "how to get" guide on how to get the ones that can be specifically achieved.

Introduction
This is an incomplete guide, Updating it as I find more. If you have an artifact not on my list, I would love a screenshot of it to add to the list.

  • Artifacts only drop at specific levels, ranging from level 1, 35, 65, and 105
  • You can calculate the level that an artifact will drop by adding 5 to the current level cap (first playthrough 35, Game+ 65, Game ++ and beyond 105)
  • All accessories are always lvl 1 regardless of what playthrough you're on, and as far as I can tell, can only be acquired through scripted events. (Apparently there might be some, but I've never seen any)

Just got Heart of the Void from Th-0R, in a random mission.
aND Chrono armor from CorpSec Overseer.
Maybe some artifacts are linked to bosses, or just that they have good drops?

Besides, I'd like to know how on Earth can one get (non-artifact) legendary weapon/shield/armor...

couldn't find others yet, currently got
sleeping Evie-spare Riggo(heal if option to is shown) all the times, and pay him if required to.
Barkleby's cage(?)-from random encounter in non-story mission, find Barkleby's master's tablet and refuse to hand him over
Cruella-do whatever HEHS tells you to, just don't forget to report back every time you finish one (sub)quest.
However I'm not sure if these count as artifacts. At least the armors do.

How to get those artifacts (More of a memo for future)
- Story Mission Related
1. Prototype AI Core : As the name suggests, deciding to destroy(dismantle) the machine(AI chip or something) found in the early story mission's ship cargo.
2. Bak-Ur's Loot Detector : can't remember; think I found it from early story mission
3. Barbara's oozing eyeball : in the story mission with void/reality switching involved, this is in the void's side of the hidden room(only reachable via void; it's the room that is shown with a crate in it, but doesn't seem to be reachable. probably on the lower left side? not so sure.)
- NOT story mission related(probably?)
1. Stillsuit
2. Wastewalker

Letting Riggo live then paying him off when you meet him again nets you his robodoggo Evie after the mission in your mail. You can save 500 Creds if you bring a smuggler along

Hi there! How does one go about getting "Bak-Ur's Loot Detector"?

Also have you ever found a good use for Rai'el? Their hits have always been extremely weak for me and hardly worth the summoning.

Cool. Sadly the game seems intensely opposed to giving me artifact weapons. I'm on my NG++ now to see the last story arc, so maybe it'll decide to be generous, or even just less stingy. ;)
GgSui  [author] 15 Oct, 2017 @ 1:24am
No need to image those, those are Legendaries, not Artifacts.

Still awesome though
Wazat1 14 Oct, 2017 @ 6:14pm
I hope that helps. I can provide images if that helps ya, but I have company coming over so I'll have to catch it later.
