In terms of duration an adult needs 6 to 8 hours of sleep per day. Many of you won't sleep that much but you should!

Problem: You probably are to busy to sleep that much or just can't fall asleep quick enough because you have been sitting in front of your computer or phone the whole evening which makes it hard for you to sleep.

Solution: First of all there is https://justgetflux.com/, during the day, computer screens look good- they're designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun. F.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.

If you were not able to sleep enough at night try to find some time mid-day to either nap or just relax and get some rest, a day of school or working can be really stressful so there is nothing bad about taking a quick pause and relaxing a bit.

How often have you thought that something in your life is missing? Often you do not even know what it is, you just know that you miss it. You have to change your mindset! Appreciate what you've got instead of craving for something you haven't got. By that I do not mean that you should stop working for your goals but rather that you should make your main priority to always be happy and not to suffer just to be happy after a while when you reached that goal you are working towards.

Just think about how much luck you have to even be alive, to have the right to experience all the things you are experiencing. I mean you are one of the 250.000.000 sperm cells that tried to have the life you have right now, what a lucky person you are, right?

Try to see all those little things that make life enjoyable and you will see that you will enjoy life much, much more.

Well do you think you need any? Many people think having no friends must be a bad thing. That is not the case, you can be a happy person without any friends. Often friends make it easier but no one is telling you that you have to have friends. If you enjoy being alone watching movies or tv shows (I recommend Skins UK on Netflix) that is totally okay and nothing that makes your life less worth than the life of a person having hundreds of friends and that is going out every day.








However, if you are feeling lonely and want to meet new people but are to shy or socially awkward a good way of making friends is the internet (even steam offers really good groups to make friends with people). I know 4 groups (one of them is really small but all the people in there are super nice, the other groups are quite big), keep in mind that some of the groups are made for specific people with the same interests but they will 100% also be fine with you if you are generally not a person of that person group.

Friends can really make life wonderful and great. If you find the people, that care about you, make you happy and are there for you even in your worst times you should do everything to give those people the love and affection they deserve. Supporting each other through all times can be a wonderful thing and gives you so many nice things to look back to in the past, if you are lucky you even have the chance to look back at these moments with the people you experienced them with - these people are called real friends and often they will stay with you forever.

Serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) is a monoamine neurotransmitter which is found in all animals and is said to be the main contributor to feelings of well-being and happiness.

While a big part of serotonin concentration is genetically determined, sport and nutrition can help to increase your serotonin levels. It is proven that doing sport increases the level of serotonin so going for a 30-minute walk every day can make you happier and also helps you to stay in shape.

Having a nice body also boosts your self esteem and makes it easier for you to feel good ;-)
Nutrition also takes a huge part in your serotonin household, nearly all fruits and vegetables contain low amounts tryptophan which converts to serotonin in the body however, many nuts contain big amounts of tryptophan so think of adding some nuts to your diet, too.

But there are also some fruits that contain some serotonin themselves I made a top 3 list of these and I also made a list of the top 3 tryptophan donors(nuts).

Sometimes life sucks!
[...]but wouldn't it be boring if everything would be perfect all the time? You just always have to remember that good times are coming again and that you (maybe) have friends that help you through those times. Always remember that there is someone that cares about you! You know what? Even I care about you even though I probably do not know you or have ever seen you.
