Achievement Guide.
Bad Day is an endless running video game that sees Jimmy the pube covered triangle stuck on a conveyor belt dragging him to his doom, your aim is to keep pube boy... I mean Jimmy alive by running against the flow of the conveyor belt by tapping "space" (the faster you tap the faster you run) and jumping over the incoming obstacles by tapping the "up arrow" key.

There are a total of 6 achievements up for grabs in Bad Day, none of which are missable.

First off, play aiming to get as long a run as possible, your target is 1500 meters, I'm terrible at platformer games and my jumping skills are legendarily dire, despite this I managed 2052 meters on my 5th run.

This will net you the "Nice try" + "Just Do It" + "Fastest finger ever" achievements, next you want to do 10 runs of at least 1000 meters, you will have already done this at least once, so keep replaying till you hit over 1000, let yourself die, rinse and repeat until the "Not bad" + "Are you mad, bro?" achievements pop.

Lastly is the "Run, Forrest! RUN!" achievement that requires you to complete 50 runs of at least 100 meters, you should have already done at least 10, if not more so just keep starting a new game and letting Jimmy die once your score reaches 100 till the achievement pops.

All in all shouldn't take more than 30 mins to 100% Bad Day.

NOTE:- At the time of writing this guide, there is one premium DLC for Bad Day, this DLC does not add any achievements to the game and is not required to 100% the game. The DLC just adds a different character called Marta and a new Airport level.
Gameplay Tips.
1. At the start of a level the conveyor belt speed is x1 (100%)
When you reach a distance of 50m it speeds up to 105%
@ 150m it speeds up to 110%
@ 250m it speeds up to 115%
@ 400m it speeds up to 120%
@ 500m it speeds up to 125%
@ 600m it speeds up to 130%
@ 700m it speeds up to 135%
@ 800m it speeds up to 140%
@ 900m it speeds up to 145%
@ 1000m it speeds up to 150%
@ 1400m it speeds up to 155%
@ 1600m it speeds up to 160%
@ 1800m it speeds up to "MAX" (which I assume is 165%).

2. The best place to try and keep Jimmy is between the two front fork lift wheels, you don't want to get too far forwards as it will reduce reaction time to incoming obstacles and if you lag too far to the back of the conveyor belt it gives you little time to correct for any mistakes you make as Jimmy is not an adept at bunny hopping.

3. The key to maintaining a healthy lead on the conveyor belt, especially as it speeds up beyond 150% is to try to jump between obstacles and avoid landing on them.

The reason for this is twofold, firstly, jumping moves Jimmy to the right of the screen faster than running (regardless of how fast you tap away at the space bar), looking back on my gameplay video each time I jumped I gained about a 5mm to 10mm lead (on a 24" monitor for scale purposes) from doing so, the second reason is as you walk off an object you land on, it drags you backwards a little.

You could counter this drag effect by jumping off the object, but given that you can't jump twice quickly in succession you run the risk of jumping into another oncoming obstacle or not being able to jump again quick enough if you land in the path of one.

4. While you can play on a gamepad, it's much easier on a keyboard, unless you happen to have an arcade stick controller, I don't but I imagine it would make the game much easier to play.

5. If you do not have a mechanical keyboard and have earned the "Run, Forrest! RUN!" achievement before the "Fastest finger ever" achievement, give up, you're just going to break your keyboard.

6. If you have a mechanical keyboard with blue switches, play the game alone (or people around you will want to kill you).

I can't really offer any more advice than this, as I said earlier, I suck at any game that involves timed jumping and I still managed to get a decent score and 100% the game...

I disagree. You should try harder, git gud and JUST DO IT! :B1: :golden:

Good guide otherwise. Took me like 10-15 attempts to get 1500 points but overall just 44 mins to 100%.
