Achievement Guide.
In total there are 8 achievements for OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THIS KNIGHT, 3 of which are missable (The imposter. + Sticks and stones. + The ball. Of doom!), so a quick read up of the notes on those achievements in advance might be prudent for achievement hunters.

Note, the game is best played with a gamepad, I used a 360 controller and I have no idea what the keyboard controls are although there should be in game prompts.

One scarecrow. Only.
Destroy scarecrows.
From your starting position head a short distance northwest until you reach the first farm, a cut scene plays out between two bird people? arguing over the number of scarecrows one of the pair has made. Once you regain control over the protagonist proceed to break all 4 of the scarecrows with his mighty wooden sword to earn this achievement.

Don't interrupt me, please.
Bring chicken back.
When you are being chased away from the first farm, head a short distance northeast to the second farm. Just to the right of the farmhouse is a small shed housing some chickens with an old lady standing outside, as you approach another cut scene ensues.

As a result of your incompetence the poor old woman's chickens escape and to earn this achievement you must beat up all the chickens and drag them back into the shed (there should be a screen prompt for the key to use to drag the chickens, it was LB on the 360 pad).

The imposter.
Find a frined.
WARNING, this achievement is missable.When you are being chased away from the second farm head northeast from the chicken shed, just passed a tree and you will see a vaguely human looking NPC, smack him a couple of times with your trusty stick... I mean sword and the achievement is yours.

Turnip, potato and corn.
Deal with the cabbage.
From the imposter, just north of the chicken shed, head west until you hit the path, then head northeast till you reach the third farm where another cut scene plays out between four brothers. It seems the brothers are incompetent farmers and you are going to do them a favour by destroying their crop.

To do this simply walk over their cabbages (destroyed cabbages turn a darker shade of green), there's 56 in total and you need to stomp on 48, the catch is the four brothers are not best pleased about you doing this, initially at least and they will be trying to attack you, if they hit you 4 or 5 times before you destroy 48 cabbages, the field resets and you have to try again (tip, go in circles or a figure of eight).

The ball. Of doom!.
Find a follower.
WARNING, this achievement is missable. From the third farm head due west until you hit the tree line, follow the trees sticking to the edge of the map heading north, walk past the benches on your right and when you pass the single grey rock carefully walk to your right.

Avoid the drunken priest sitting outside the church and make a beeline for the hidden blue blob behind the church, making sure to keep your distance as much as is possible from the priest (if you get to close a cut scene plays, which if it does then your opportunity to earn this achievement has been missed).

Cowards and wine.
Defeat hellspawns.
After collecting the blue blob as a follower you can now safely approach the drunken priest in front of the church, as you do a cut scene plays out, you get drunk, the screen starts to sway and a demon invasion shortly follows.

Your task to earn this achievement is to beat up 4 demons, each taking 3 hits to vanquish, the problem is that they hit back and if you get hit too many times the combat restarts at the beginning.

Sticks and stones.
Find a hater.
WARNING, this achievement is missable. Still drunk with a wibbly wobbly screen after being chastised by the drunken priest, head east between the benches and the barrels to a patch of grassland and sleep it off. When you awake head northeast till you hit a path and continue east, when the path forks head south until you come to a single large grey boulder sitting in the grass to your left.

Hit this boulder with your sword just once and the achievement is yours.

The Knight.
Complete the game.
From the rock involved in the previous achievement, head northeast and then east along the path to a clearing. A cut scene plays out and your past good deeds come back to haunt you, and a beast by the name of Mikhail is set upon you, you cannot fight and your only means of escape blocked by a gate impervious to your attacks.

To escape you must get Mikhail to either charge the gate, or get him to throw things at it, by means of you acting as bait and jumping out of the way at the last minute.

The best advice I can offer regarding this fight is to stand in front of the gate and act as bait, when there are two or three rocks sitting in front of the gate move to the top of the screen and try to bait Mikhail into throwing the rocks in front of the gate to the top of the screen at you, when the front of the gate is clear, move back to the front of the gate and try to get him to hit the gate once more, rinse and repeat till the gate breaks.

The key is not to let too many rocks sit around the gate as this will obstruct any other rocks thrown by Mikhail and indeed Mikhail himself when he charges you preventing damage to the gate.
