You probably wonder how people got their high steam levels and how much actual money they spent on it. Today I want to tell my story how I got my steam level without spending any money from my own pocket. Let’s start from the beginning, so i was started using steam in 2013 November 1st. I was most likely addicted to call of duty after my account got stolen back in 2014 and wasn’t interested getting it back with only few games in my library, I still decided one day that why shouldn’t I get back? So i sat down on the same day after school and after an hour i got my account back with 0 friends on my list and with 2 games in my library. So as before i started playing more and getting to know more about steam and as I discovered more options and more features as I talked with people and they told me about steam profile level up. For my surprise there was no point of doing it and it’s all about making people spend more money which is true, but i still wanted to get high level without touching my wallet. So i started asking friend if i could get their steam cards. Some of them said yes most of them ignored it. I was still unhappy about people ignoring me, but i knew that there should be some way to get more cards. I discovered as long as you buy games you will have a drop from each games, but i didn’t have any idea how to get them drop fast, so i started looking online and found one promising solution which was the IDLE the steam card dropping system. Quickly downloaded it and started getting know the app. After the app dropped all my card into my inventory i still felt like it’s not good for long term because if i wanted to get more levels, then i have to buy more games to get more card drop right? So i found the free games groups which allows you to participate in different type of game giveaways and get the cheapest games which still can drop you steam cards. I was addicted to those steam groups and started getting more and more games in my library. After a moth i got over 100 games that was totally free and totally safe to get steam cards out of them via IDLE app. After i felt like it’s not scamming people just to ask for their steam card which doesn’t cost a penny to them. As i had the cards i felt like i need more people on my friends list, because as i moved on i just felt like it takes time to find people to actually have the missing cards i need and the right opened person who would trade with me. In 2016 as the years moved on i discovered the steam trading card bots the best way to boost your account, the only thing you needed in your inventory is just CS:GO keys to trade with them on the best rate to get more cards. I knew that even if i sell my cards i will not have enough money to buy CS:GO key and turn them into steam levels so i waited to get more and more other options the most promising idea was the steam gems bots which allows you to buy steam gems or turn into items to steam gems from your inventory. Most of the backgrounds and emojis gives you the rate of 10 gems per item which meant i have to turn at least 20 or my items into a steam gem to get 200 gems for one set of cards. I moved up slowly levels by levels and higher by higher numbers on my steam profile i knew if I’m patient i can get more out of it but can’t just do it in one day everything so i kept going and trading every single day to at least 30-40 people. Even if most of them ignored me there was still some of them who traded and gave their items to me. Finally, after almost 3 years of “hobby” trading and level up doing i finally reached my 100th level on 2018 April 25th without spending a single penny of my own.

That's pretty funny, fair play to you! I imagine you put in a lot of hours to get there, though honestly, it probably would’ve been more time-efficient to just pick up a job and work a shift or two to reach level 100.

A nice read, although I suggest learning the paragraphing skill in the writing tech tree :winter2019happysnowman:
