Apple!

Find the apple.
There are three separate sections, or levels in Frightened Beetles, during the first your beetle automatically runs to the right, the only control you have over the beetle is to switch which side of the branch it runs along (top or bottom) and the ability to jump. Along the branch on both sides there are leaves of varying size some dark green and some light, the leaves of a darker shade of green you can run past but the lighter green leaves, if touched will kill you.

The aim of this level is simply to make it to the end alive and about 10 or 11 seconds into your run you will see a flashing apple floating above one of the smaller leaves on the top side of the branch, collect this apple and the Apple! achievement is yours.

Cup!

Find the cup.
For the second level you play a beetle that automatically flies upwards at a constant speed, your only control over it is to the left and right, just beware that there is a degree of momentum in its movement and I recommend tapping movements rather than holding the button down.

On your path towards the sky, there are branches protruding from the left and right of the screen, touch one of these and it's instant death for your beetle. Approximately 12 seconds into your flight there will be a small flashing cup located directly in the centre of the screen, collect this and the Cup! achievement is yours.

Cake!

Find the cake.
For the third and final level you are once again flying, although this time you only have control over the beetles vertical movement and must navigate a maze of thorny plants which, if touched kill you.

Again, because of momentum, I would advise feathering the button rather than holding it and about 22 seconds into your flight you will see a flashing cake towards the bottom of the screen, collect this and the Cake! achievement is yours. (TIP: I found it easier going over the flower in the middle of the screen just before the cake rather than trying to skirt along the bottom all the way).

Just play...
This achievement is earned by simply completing the 3rd and final level, regardless of other achievements.

King!

Best time of the game.
This achievement is earned by completing the entire game, levels 1 through 3 in one sitting with no deaths (excluding cut scene deaths at the end of each level) and believe me, it's not as hard as it sounds, I say this because I'm an old git and my reflexes, reactions and gaming skills aren't a scratch on what they once were and I managed it by my 5th attempt.
