Quick Stats
The Backburner is a nice choice of flame spewer. It deals critical damage when torching a foe's backside in exchange for a more expensive airblast. It can be obtained in a myriad of ways: unlocking Pyro Milestone 2, uncrating Mann Co Supply Crate #25, uncrating Naughty Winter Crate 2014 (retired), crafting, purchasing from the Mann Co Store, or through random drops.

Now let's talk stats:
-------------------------
The backburner particles do 6.5 damage to a frontfacing player at medium range. At point blank range, they do 13 damage to a nonburning player. When hit, a player will suffer 3-10 seconds of afterburn damage at 4 damage per tick, depending on how long the victim was roasted. When a player is hit from behind, the Backburner particles do 20-39 damage. On minicrits, the flames do 9-18 damage with a boosted 5 damage per tick of afterburn.

Airblasting costs 50 ammo to use, so on a full tank, up to 4 airblasts can be used. Upon airblasting a burning ally, you will be awarded 20 health.

The Backburner has a reserve tank of 200 fuel, with no reload.
