Finally came back to this after a couple of years... to make sure you get the achievement, solve all the way to step 3, using the machete, but don't pick up the key. As Funnyman said, at this point ALT-F4 out of the game to close it, then restart the game. When you restart and load the save game, immediately pick up the key, and the achievement will pop.

This way, you can take as much time as you want - I took several minutes and used about 8 hints - and still got first try after using the ALT-F4 trick!

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this - if you open up the game in windowed mode, it auto-pauses when you click outside the game window. When paused, you can still see the hidden objects even though the game (and timer) is inactive. Keep clicking in the window as you spot items (it will auto resume) and back out again immediately after to pause - and repeat until done. Just tested this method and it works great. Gives you a lot longer than 90 seconds to get the achievement.

Something I found out: I took way longer than 90 seconds to almost complete a level, then I closed my game. It auto-saved right where I was, and I got the achievement by completing it normally after relaunching it.

Even though it sux, i'm kinda glad it's not a problem on my end, & it's happening to others, so hopefully the Dev's will fix it, fingers crossed.

I read your message and i just checked out what you reported. My game wont start either, i tried removing old savegames, and a reinstall. I think something is wrong with the game.

I have seen on the forums people reporting the same problem as you reported. maybe check it out there.

So i've followed the instructions & replaced my GameInfo file with your file, but now every time i press Play in Steam, the game crashes, & i haven't been able to get to the start screen to choose a profile.
Any ideas why this isn't working?
