How to set a custom resolution
By Telmo "Trooper"
To set a custom resolution you'll have to download Saints Row 2: Resolution Editor[blog.gib.me] (developed by Rick from Rick's Game Stuff), extract it to \SteamApps\common\Saints Row 2, execute it, choose your desired resolution, click Save and it's done.

For anyone on Windows 11. Win11 has it's own built in extractor/unzipping tool and it seems to fail at its job. Had issues with mods for another game. I heard that 7zip is a good one to use but I personally use Bandizip. This might be the issue some of you are having getting this to work but this is not a guaranteed fix.

For me Resolution zip isn't working. When I click to save it doesn't want to save my custom resolution.

be aware for anyone looking to play co-op using hamachi or zero tier. playing ABOVE 1080p WILL CAUSE RANDOM CRASHES! for both parties strangely, even if one isn't above 1080p.
