Once you have progressed far enough in the game to make them quickly, save up a good number of full stacks of very expensive items. Fill all the stacks on your tables AND your inventory with them.
To sell enough, you will likely need the max leveled shop.
Any time a table slot empties, restock it immediately.
This should get you enough sales to get the achievement.
What happens if you don't sell to customers waiting in line? do they leave or wait until shop closes? Let's say i open the shop, then go somewhere. When i come back, will all the customers, that decided to buy something, be just waiting to pay?
(could be added to the guide)
They do pick items while paused... I've found the best way to maximize sales is to open shop and get to your chair then open the menu and wait for about a minute for the customers to make their way to you from their spawnpoint. Once they're at your signpost they get "stuck" so you have to close and re-open your menu. You basically want to camp out in your menu for about 10 seconds at a time, then close and re-open it. You'll eventually get dudes to your register to purchase an item, just close the menu, sell the items, then re-open the menu... Rinse repeat and you can sell a full sized shop out within an hour. The only part where time is actively running is pretty much just when I re-stock. I tend to save up to do shop days every few days...
