Gameplay Resolution Fix
(***EDIT FROM 12/8/24***
Link appears to not have download link, i'm leaving it but use other link below)

Go to http://www.wsgf.org/dr/indiana-jones-and-emperors-tomb/en and click on IndianaJones_EmperorsTomb.7z in the solutions & issues sections. This will download a zipped file that contains resolutions from 1024x600 to 7680x1440.

Unzip the file and you will get TONS of folders for different resolutions. Then go into the folder of the resolution you want and move those 3 files into steam\steamapps\common\indianjonesandtheemperorstomb\GameData\bin

When moving those 3 files from the resolution you choose into the bin folder you should be asked to overwrite 3 existing files, do this and now when you launch you will have your desired resolution, going into the options screen to mess with video settings will show a resolution of 800x600 or something similar but you will still have the resolution you installed, going into options will not revert to the old resolution unless you alter it yourself, so don't do that!

UPDATE: Reported first link does not work, try https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1388-indiana-jones-and-the-emperors-tomb-wsgf-dr-mods NOT CONFIRMED WORKING BY ME but others report it does
Movies and Load Screen Resolution Fix
Go to https://www.moddb.com/mods/moviesloading-screens-fix-full-screen-1280x960/downloads/movies-loading-screens-fix-full-screen-1280x960 and download the file (note yes it is 1280x960 but this should still make it fullscreen compared to the very small movies+load screen you'd have without it)

Click the red download now.

Unzip the files and navigate to steam\steamappds\common\indianajonesandtheemperorstomb\GameData\indy\

Take the movies folder that was unzipped and move it into the indy folder, this will promt a move and replace screen where you need to overwrite the existing files and folder.
FPS FIX
*WARNING some people say this has a side effect of desyncing audio during cute scenes, some say it doesn't, it hasn't for me but may happen. People have also said going above 60 FPS will cause gameplay issues so recommend setting to 60 but can go higher if you want to try*

navigate to steam\steamappds\common\indianajonesandtheemperorstomb\gamedata\indy

in here you will find a file vars.cfg

open with notepad and go down to where it says fpsLimit=30 and change 30 to 60 then save

The first link in the gameplay section, like others report I can not find the download button, but that is the link I used when I made this guide. The second link does have a download button that while I personally have not installed from, people seem to say it does in fact work.

The link you shared has no download button but i Googled "Indiana Jones and the emperor's tomb widescreen" and there was a YT video with a working link.
Thanks anyway

doing this with the retail cd game, it breaks the game completely if you install any of the resolution mods. tried it on 2 computers now, and theres no way to fully uninstall the game after you do it, and it wont let the game launcher return to its default state of letting you install. it only says start game, which leads to asking for disc one that it never reads.

Oh ya def stoked about the new Indy game, but keeping my expectations low so I can be pleasantly surprised if it's good instead of being disappointed if it falls short.

WOW, have not heard of Nvidia Remix, that looks really interesting. Seems super new so will be interesting to see what people do with it in the future.

Also, any thoughts on using Nvidia Remix? It's really cool and powerful software that could do a game like this serious justice. Takes a really strong computer to be able to make mods with though, mine gets really slow using RTX 2080 8gb vram, 32gb ddr3 and a decade plus old i5 3.4ghz. Cool stuff though and I hope people will come up with some great mods in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I think I was probably joking about the username considering mine was Clam Chowder Condom at the time. I'm not worried about the mod and I think I might have gotten it working back then. Are you excited for the new Indiana Jones game??

There is no fix and I can't troubleshoot your problems. This works if you follow the steps. If the game doesn't launch then you probably didn't follow a step properly, also make sure the game works BEFORE trying this because it's possible the game itself has issues on your rig.
