Sending Gimble to Vandal was introduced in some older UP patch. It is possible with the same persuasion level with which you could persuade Vandal to not bring another blood doll at all after Lily flees. I am on 9.2 and the persuasion choice is already here. I remember that circa version 7-8 they started pumping out a lot of content.
Hmm, maybe it was added in the Unofficial Patch. The game gained many more short-cuts and peaceful ways to go around different situations.
The Clan Quest Mod lets you skip the Warrens in 2 or 3 ways, lets you skip the Fu Syndicate and the Hallowbrook Hotel as well as the Ming Xiao temple. Now if only there was a way to skip the Warehouse and the Venture tower through persuasion.
