Gamepad/Controller & Dota is crashing? Randomly,

Game crashing:?

Enter a game, suddenly dota closes.

Or stops midway during gameplay?

Dota crashing, and acting like that was normal?
Syncing with cloud after crash;

If you have a gamepad/controller connected to your PC<
-nojoy needs to be added to the dota2 launch options inside your steam library;

Happened ever since Battlepass2019,
Affects DX9, 11, and Vulkan

Go to your steam library,

Right click on dota 2, to go to Properties,

Click Launch options and add:

-nojoy

Done- Immediately fixed my issue.

I tested the issue's persistence, it affected DX9, DX11, & Vulkan , So probably 10:1 chance it affects OpenGL,

But this is specifically for having an xbox One [1] controller plugged in, and steam's wireless controller ready whenever i Need it.

This command makes them remain plugged in, and not have to unplug everytime I want to dota,

It crashed on all APIs of the 3 tested.

I play other games with a controller, controller stays plugged in. Read. It's about using this command to prevent it interfering with dota. It used to cause a crash with vulkan.
