Is Dead Mountaineer Hotel Installed?
Go to your game library and scroll along the list of four hundred games to find "Dead Mountaineer Hotel" within the list. Is it grayed out? Good. You may exit this guide.

If the game is not grayed out, then you will want to proceed to the next step as quickly as possible.
Help! It isn't grayed out!
This means your copy of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel is still installed. Don't worry! This guide is here to help. The first thing you're going to want to do is select the game. You do this by moving your mouse curser (that arrow thing floating over the screen) above the name of the game, Dead Mountaineer's Hotel.

Once the curser is there, click to select the game. Just once! If you click twice you might be forced to play it and we don't want that to happen. Make sure you only click once. It is extremely important that you remember when selecting a game you only need to click once.

Once the game is selected, you may now right click "Remove Local Items" from the drop down menu displayed.

When the pop up window comes up, click "Delete all Local Content". Unfortunately this game will remain in your list of games so you must live with the reminder that you paid money to get this game, but at the very least it will not have the opportunity to spread to other games in your library and infect them.

Once you have finished this step go back to the one before to ensure you are done.

Thank you so much! After noticing that I indeed needed to go beyond step one, I found out that the game's corruption had spread to other parts of my library when Bad Rats suddenly appeared. I followed your guide for both Dead Mountaineer's Hotel and Bad Rats, and now the corruption seems to have stopped!
