First of all: The more people see this guide, the more are going to keep this great game alive. This is why I ask you to leave a positive feedback, to bring this guide up to the front pages of new players!

The Space Marine Community is scattered, but far away from being dead. There are some clans as well as tournaments. Clan members can be noticed by their Name Tags.

Example: If I would have been allowed to join the Crimson Fists, my name would be something like "-CF- Sir Charles", "Sir Charles [Crimson Fists]", "Sir Charles [CF]" or something else in this manner. Note that clans will not be happy to see some random person with their Tags without permission and some of them may decide to hunt you down ingame in case you did so. If you wish to join a clan, simply message one of their members and that person will tell you what to do in most cases (most clans do some sort of trial any newcomer has to pass).

It is very helpfull to communicate with people in public lobbies. They will give you advice or even training if you want that and can introduce you into the basic gameplay. Many players are friends on steam with each other to get lobbies going when there are no games running and the only way to gain friends is to be friendly. :)

There are various Discord servers and steam groups that connect the SM community. While there is not many things going on in the steam groups, the discord servers will allow for group recruitment as well as participation in some events (Dreadnaught gamemode, tournaments).


Disclaimer: Of course there are several other Servers which I don't know about or that are small or very specific. If you are looking for something like that, just talk to players in game.
