My game is not starting and/or Steam says "App already running"

To solve this problem, you go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Soldiers Heroes of World War 2 and right-click on the soldiers.exe. Now you go to properties and to the compatibility tab. Choose Windows XP as compatibility and "run as administrator".

Now the game should run. If Steam says "App already running" go to the Steam directory, right click the steam.exe and run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP and in administrator mode.

Start steam again, click cancel and login normally. Now you can enjoy Soldiers :)



If Steam displays an error message after starting it with compatibility mode, ignore it.
