yeah it does :) I forget using shields most of the time in fights but some look rly nice w/ fashionista in screenshots, gt craft this one for sure!

It also has a little glow in the center, which is useless but looks good ^^

Its a Star Metal Shield

Harvest meteorites for star metal ore, and place inside a furnace with brimstone and black ice, to make star metal bars. Then combine 20 bars with a shield frame to make the shield ^^
