Who should be on the team?
I've been using 2 builds so far:
  • Woodcutter as Tank
  • Trapper as Semi Support/DPS
  • Herbalist as Support/Nuker
    and
  • Woodcutter as DPS
  • Trapper as Support
  • Herbalist as Semi Support/Nuker

Remember kids, Woodcutter>Blacksmith and Trapper>Hunter, and Herbalist = the most op class at the moment

Builds
First build
Item distribution: Tank always has priority. His role is to collect all the bang on himself, while the rest deals with keeping him alive and fighting the enemy. So it must have the latest technological innovations for cannon fodder. Whether a herbalist or a trapper should buy a new item depends on who is weaker on the battlefield and should get an upgrade.
Items: We'll only stick on late game, because early and mid game depends of quests and our playstyle.

Woodcutter
As weapon: everything one handed for strength.
As shield: Spiked Shield (if you really don't want this one, pick another, but it has to have enemy taunt skill)
As armor: Horned Helm , Furry armor Fur Armor or Royal Plate , Royal Boots
You can wear inferno set as well
As trinket: It depends on playstyle.
As necklace: Elemental Usekh or Golden Medallion

Trapper
As weapon: Something good that imposes a freezing effect AND IS FOR TRAPPER
As shield: Woodcutter
As armor: Assassin set
As trinket: Silver Padlock (This guy will hold all the money)
As necklace: Silk Scarf or Fine Silk Scarf

Herbalist
As weapon: Wizard Staff
As shield: Woodcutter
As armor: Mystic set
As trinket: Amplifying Diamond
As necklace: Enchanted Pearls or Elemental Usekh
Pipes
Herbalist MUST level up the pipe as fast as possible, unlike other characters. Level of his pipe is related to the effectiveness of party healing, the rest must save money on the boat.

2nd Build
The difference is that Trapper changes the style of play. He will start using weapons with AoE skills and team supporting skills. Woodcutter will throw his shield, dress in the whole Royal set and start using Vardemoder. Herbalist will be the same, but he'll focus on dealing massive dmg.
Gameplay
Early Game
  • Buy as many godsbeards as possible (every single one goes to herbalist)
  • Do not enter pirate's tavern before reaching 1st level on every hero.
  • Do not fight enemies above your levels.
  • DO NOT OPEN FLOATING CHESTS!
  • Make as many side quests as possible. (Tinder pouches>Gold>Lifepools>Items - u will buy items at cities and at night markets)
  • Avoid kraken- do not enter deep waters, swim on shallows.
This phase ends when u'll hit ~4lvl on every crew member.

    Mid Game
  • Buy Armored Ship (or, if u're brave enough- make pirate ship quest)
  • Start clearing dungeons and water temples.
  • When your crew possesses quite good equipment and boat repair kits Kill the Kraken. He doesn't do much damage, his phenomenon is the ability to destroy ships, at the stage when you have an armored boat he will be weak Focus on his main body with eye, tentacles will die then too. Kill him Anakin, kill him now.
This phase ends when u'll hit ~7lvl on every crew member.

    Late Game
  • Start collecting gear which I mentioned above.
  • Repair your ship, and buy a lot of godsbeards, and boat repair kits.
  • Level up your crew. I defeated Sea Lord when i had lvl 9 on every hero, but lvl 10 is more safe.
  • Buy these herbs for being faster in fight, woodcutter can buy mead. Be sure that you have at least one precious pearl.
At this stage, I assume that your team has all the necessary supplies and is able to fight the sea lord

    Fighting the Sea King
If you chose build number 1, then the woodcutter must taunt all the time.
    Phase 1
Just focus on main body, use your "i'am speed" herbs at the start of the fight.
Let your herbalist use party heal ONLY when it is obvious that someone's going to die soon.
Sea lord can deal 2 damage to your boat, so if your boat has 4hp and this guy and his mates tentacles are in the queue, better fix your battleship. Keep in mind that the tentacles can also damage your boat.
Herbalist with Wizard Staff should spam vaporize (that's a lot of dmg). For every vaporize use one focus, that's sth about 65% to make perfect hit (70+ magic dmg). If your party is running out from focus use precious pearls.
    Few tips
  • Sea Lord deals massive magic damage, sth about 30+ dmg per hit.
  • He can cast resist/armor up on himself and tentacles.
  • He can give dmg reflection to tentacles (dont attack them then)
  • Before starting the fight make sure that u have sanctums/lifepools
  • Tentacles DONT DIE after defeating main body, have it on mind.
    Phase 2
    just finish tentacles lol.

sry for bad english, hope this'll help someone.
Tips
  • Remember crabbos are your enemies number one, they can destroy your eq.
  • Mimics can wipe your team easily in early, don't touch them.
  • If some rat or pirate steals your hard earned money execute order 66 on him as fast as possible,
  • Ghosts are fa***ts, they can cast curse on you.
