BUT I did find out one way spore cloud stack: Speed reduction. By overlapping 3 clouds at once it's possible to make enemy ships so slow that they'll flicker in and out of stealth from the cloud while at full burn .
Honestly the biggest weakness to the pryo-nubula spam is just that after a while for big battles your fleet's firing lines will be so clogged up with wreckage it'll turn into a wall.
I park my ships into an asteroid field, because of the -20% to hit me to mitigate the damage and the ships can hide in them.
Then attack isolated ships with close combat, and/or engage the final ships if necessary.
The tyranids, when played right, will never run out of troops, ordnance and boarding craft/fighters
So yeah, if the context is "the upgrade that let's you build ships", that is what I meant.
