Disabling Motion Blur
Motion Blur is just hideous in the teaser. You can disable it by setting your Post-Processing to low, but then you lose other PP options. So, here's how you can disable it without losing on other PP quality:

Find Engine.ini in the following directory:
\steam\steamapps\common\THQBCNP1\GothicRemake\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Add the following to the end of the file:
[SystemSettings] r.MotionBlur.Max=0 r.MotionBlurQuality=0 r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0

Save it.
Enabling Developer Console
Find Inpuit.ini in the following directory:

\steam\steamapps\common\THQBCNP1\GothicRemake\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Add the following to the end of the file:
[/script/engine.inputsettings] ConsoleKey=Tilde

Save it.

Okay, seems that when you have enabled the console, just type:

FOV 130

or experiment with other numbers, whatever works with your liking.

I've also disabled the lens flares which are awful, from the Engine.ini:

[SystemSettings]
r.LensFlareQuality=0

I wonder how to increase the FOV, found this for the Engine.ini:

[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

I'm not sure how to configure it, though. The character takes too much place on the screen.

Disabling logging helps with performance a lot, and prevents your SSD from being destroyed:

I hate Motion Blur because it's nasty, Over used and make's me sick to my stomach on higher settings, What am I supposed to turn the camera turn ratio to 1 ? Or if using mouse 0.001 ?? Sorry I don't like moving my camera around like a snail just so I don't hurl chunks on a desk.

Thanks for the motion blur turn off, though it still shows a trippy ghost blur when you move, Made it so I was able to beat the PT and!!!! AND! I gained 15 FPS off it :D Not my fault they didn't include a section to tweak the graphics individually rather clumped it with "Post-Processing" @zap ♥ ♊ #DTLKM That's your Opinion, dude. Just like this was mine. Just because you have a motion blur in a game doesn't mean it's classified as "Next-Gen" Motion Blur first showed up in games 20 years ago, it's advanced since then, but this application of it is entirely the wrong set. It's like... "Let's go on the Twilt-a-Whirl... Hope you haven't had anything to eat all day."

I don't think I will ever understand why so many people hate motion blur, I really don't. It's one of my favorite visual effects in video games since 10+ years and to me it was always one of those things that I absolutely want in all my games if they are supposed to be "next gen" or whatever. Maybe I'm getting old, maybe I'm not old enough, who knows...

I think the devs need to see that some players are making adjustments to ini. files and take notes as to why that is. isn't that what this project is all for?

Only issue I had other than the motion blur (seriously, cut scene faces getting blurred!) was that attacks sometimes failed to trigger. Everything else ran fine for me. Older hardware might struggle though.

The game isn't out yet and I'm already editing ini files. Sounds like Gothic alright (although, to be fair, the original ran pretty great).

>it's demo, not meant to be optymized game

If the demo is unoptimized, how can I know the game will be?
