A full achievement guide on how to obtain all 23 achievements in Moons of Madness and solutions/tips to puzzles in case you need a little help. Guide may contain SPOILERS!

Chapter One Achievements / Puzzle Tips
All these achievements are story related and are unlocked during chapter one.
Note: "Zapper" is a missable achievement in the guide section below!

Rude Awakening: "Wake up from the nightmare"
The first achievement in the game. Just complete the dream sequence at the start.

Going Green: "Bring solar array back online"
Set up the solar array by reconfiguring all three solar panel terminals and rebooting the main switch.

Puzzle tips:
You need to explore the building in the centre. You can use your wrist device to align the solar panels direction and angle. Try facing them all towards the sun.

Red, Yellow, Blue: "Fix the reclaimer"
During the Greenhouse sequence, rewarded for finding each coloured machine part and solving the related puzzle to fix the reclaimer.

Puzzle tips:
You need to follow the coloured pipes in this section to get the required parts. To turn off the sprinklers reach the highest walkways and use the crank.
After you have all the parts put the colour coded pieces into their slots and solve the basic mathmatical puzzle. (Numbers need to add to 80).


Puzzle solution:
Red: 50, Yellow: 90, Blue: 100

Tunnel Rat: "Escape the thing in the mist"
Shortly after the puzzle described above is a chase sequence with a creature in the mist. After escaping the achievement will unlock.

Corruption: "Corrupt an orb"
During the Caves of Madness complete the first orb puzzle.

Puzzle tips:
Very easy, just place the portable orb in the middle of the three orbs and charge all three.
For the later puzzles, look around closely for orbs to charge. They can be hidden behind things and above you.


Klaatuu, Barada, Orochi: "Speak the three words" One Third: "Finish chapter one"
These two achievements occur at the same time after completing the puzzles in the basement.

Puzzle tips:
In the basement their are a few puzzles to solve.
There are 5 photographs you need to collect.
You also need to use the periodic table in the laundry room to solve the bookshelf puzzle to open a hidden room.
The photos need to be pinned in correct time order.
You will also need to find some runic letters in the basement area on objects.


Puzzle solutions:
  • Periodic table puzzle:
    C-Be-He-Be
    Code: 6424


  • Hidden letters:
    One is located on the back of a wooden drawer.
    Another is located on an orange metal cylinder.
    One is inside a painting frame on the wall.
    And the final one is on a cardboard box labelled "Books".
Zapper (Missable Achievement)
Zapper: "Maybe try going around the water"
After the Caves of Madness in Chapter One, you will awake in your childhood basement. In the basement you can find some electrical cables dangling into some water. Walk into the water and be electrocuted to death for the achievement.

Chapter Two Achievements / Puzzle Tips
Back Online: "Fix the satellite"
After starting Chapter Two you will awaken in the Rover vehicle. Climb to the top of the radio tower and carry out the puzzles to fix it and contact your team.

Puzzle tips:
Find a power source for the tower.
Use your wrist device to setup the circuits correctly by rotating the wires.
The furthest right fusebox cannot add to greater than 9 in the circuit. The start starts on 3.
Position the satellite to the correct angle like you did with the solar panels near the beginning of the game.
Use 'T' to toggle the radio.


Code for storage box:
7357

Escape: "Escape the sand storm"
After fixing the radio tower exit it and make your way through the sandstorm back to the vehicle. Use the lights to navigate back to the vehicle.



Watered Down: "Create a weak poison"
After returning to base you can access the infirmary and complete the first centrifuge puzzle to produce the weak poison.

Puzzle tips:
See below achievement!

Fire Water: "Create a strong poison"
A little later you will have to go back and make the strong poison in the same centrifuge. Complete the second puzzle for this achievement.

Puzzle tips:
The centrifuge must be balanced. (Vials spread equally).
A grey area is empty, a blue area has one filled, a red area has two items filling that slot and purple has three items in that slot.




Lung Capacity: "Reach the greenhouse without running out of air"
From the airlock without a helmet, you have to run to the greenhouse airlock. Just follow the lights around the side of the base.

Tree Hugger: "Farewell, Inna"
In the greenhouse inject the water supplies, defeat the tree and the 'mini-boss' and the achievement is yours.

Secret Revealed: "Finish Secret Keepers"
Complete the respective section of the game in the Argus Facility and then head down to Icarus.

The Dreamer: "Reveal the Dreamer"
Make your way through Icarus and into the control room. Login to the PC terminal and find a way to escape.

Puzzle tips:
Look around the room for possible passwords.
For the escape puzzle you need to get lighting at 20, sound at 100 and numbing at 100.
The left of the monitor has a scrap of paper with some puzzle clues.

Two Thirds: "Finish chapter two"
Unlocked after some dream like sections.
Final Chapter Achievements / Puzzle Tips
Open Sesame: "Open the Gate"
At the giant stone door solve the sphere puzzle by rotating the pieces to match up the lines and pieces.

Twin Moons: "Start the machine"
Solve the three cube puzzles on the pillars to activate the machine.

Puzzle Hints:
You can rotate the cubes with Q and E as well as swapping faces.
Some of the stone tablets have worn away so cube faces may not be identical matches but still okay to work out from the help.
You cannot change a cube when it is in the correct rotation.


Blast Off: "Launch the ship"
Arrive at the rocket, restore the power and initiate the launch sequence.

Adrift: "Follow your destiny"
Unlocked as the credits start rolling. (Finish the game).

Note: Please refer to the ending achievements section below for information about the final two achievements.
Ending Achievements
Problem Child: "Refuse your mother"
For this ending you need to use the radio 'T' when prompted to while floating in space and launch the missile at the moons to destroy them.

Momma's Boy: "Help your mother"
For this ending you need to ignore the above radio prompt and just wait.

After you have one ending, if you do not wish to play the game again, you can quit to the main menu during the credits and then click 'Continue' to play from the bit where you have to get to the rocket to get the alternative ending.

im on chapter two and how much % do you have to position the satelite to i cant get it over 80 and using the radio does nothing keeps saying message is blocked, am i missing something?
