Report a translation problem
Something else to keep in mind is that character abilities like New Type not only don't take up ability slots, but they will stack with similar abilities of different names. So you can make someone have New Type, Cyber New type, and Coordinator abilities and their reaction/awakening stats will benefit greatly from it

You should also point out that the same rules go for Awaken attacks:
The damage formula seems something like Melee/Range + Mech Attack + Weapon Base damage (and some complex modifiers). The Awaken stat does not increase Awaken damage per se but it increases the Awaken Weapon Base Damage and therefore indirectly the damage – however, Awaken attacks are still influenced by Melee/Ranges stat.
And what I noticed too, is that the Command stat influences extra damage in Raid/Warship links.
Of course Skills like Sense, Marksmanship, Charisma, Command etc. are useless once you hit 999 – and some characters naturally hit this limit
